This 20A 12V/24V waterproof solar charge controller is designed to protect batteries whilst charging them, having automatic cut off to prevent over-charging and deep discharge. The controller uses PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) technology which increases charge acceptance and prolongs the life of your battery. PWM technology can also recover some lost battery capacity. The unit is fully waterproof and is perfect for outdoor solar installations such as lighting systems. It is also great for vehicles and boats, particularly if installed in places affected by high humidity. Features of this controller include LED indicators, temperature sensor, battery type selection, dual timer function and several load work modes. The unit allows choosing between sealed, gel and flooded batteries for correct charging parameters. The controller can work with solar panels with combined power up to 320W (12V battery) / 640W (24V battery) and voltage up to 50V, though it works at maximum efficiency with solar panels with operating voltage 17V-20V (for 12V battery) / 34V-40V (for 24V battery).
