Instant cold relief
These are literal life's savers for me after I play hockey. They come in a nice box to hold them and I just pull 1 out when I need it. You fold it in half to pop the little bag inside and it gets cold instantly when you shake it. Works great and stays cold for about an hour. After an hour theyre still cool but not quite cold enough for pain relief or swelling. But an hour is still more than enough and having this many is a great bargain. Excellent ice packs.

Hot and Cold pack works well
It was exactly what I wanted. Soft material, flexible, forms well, freezes nice and also microwaves well. Not to heavy, right size.

Good for travel
Very useful. Lightweight. Can place right on skin. Helpful to have an ace wrap or something to help them in place. The packs are about the size of a hand. I got these for a road trip post knee surgery. Very helpful especially with the summer heat. Only complaint is that some ice packs didn’t work/ wouldn’t get cold. I would recommend bringing 3-4 instead of bringing 1 just incase it doesn’t work.

Great, but takes some work to start the chilling.
works well although you do have to be pretty fearless the first time you break the inside tube. The product has some powder in a sealed plastic pouch. Also inside is tube with liquid- you have to break the inner tube by folding the packge, which takes strength. It does get quite cold but is limited to 15-20min.So if you have the hand strength to fold the package this will do the job.

Good for temporary relief
The media could not be loaded. Pros: I bought guys for keeping in my car first aid kit. I have some long term ankle injuries, and once in awhile I tweak it while out and about. They certainly don't replace the larger freezer ice packs that can wrap around your injury, but they do a good job in a pinch when away from home. I also have had no issue with leaking, however I've kept mine with little dollar tree plastic baggies and a small throw away wash cloth just in case. Stays cold for about twenty minutes, which I find long enough to get home and grab a normal re-usable freezer one, or while I wait after put one in the freezer. Another pro is that it's actually not so cold to the touch that I need a cloth between my skin and the cold pack. Normally I would want very very cold, but it ends up being nice with limited supplies.Cons: I've had a really hard time actually activating the ice pack. The instructions say to fold the pack in half and burst the liquid packet inside however there is so much air in ice pack there's so way that can happen. I've had to locate the internal water packet, situate it in the middle of the outer bag, and strategically punch down on a hard surface to break it. Once you do break it, the cold is instant though. It could also be a con that the packet doesn't get as cold as a reusable freezer pack does depending on your needs.Overall good for an emergency situation but you'd want to get yourself better positioned to care for an injury if you can.

Not very cold and short-lived
Bought these for our long hot summers. I carry some in case of emergencies. Unfortunately they aren’t very cold and don’t last long. But they’re better than nothing. I haven’t tried similar products so I don’t know how they hold up in comparison. For serious heat you’re better off carrying refrigerated cold packs.
