This is the best gadget I've ever purchased for my cellphone. I love using my phone a Galaxy S7 (soon to be upgraded) to capture scenes. I used to use a spring-loaded clamp to hold my phone to a tripod. This is so much better. It has tripod sockets on three sides and cold shoes (no electrical power or contacts) for mounting lights, microphones, etc. Yeah, it's made of plastic but it seems durable enough to me. I throw it on the floor of my car for storage and rapid access, so there!Meantime, the best part is the method of clamping a phone. It doesn't use springs and will tighten down to the point where I fear I might crack some plastic...on the holder not the phone. It does everything the description implies and most welcome is the fact that it will hold my phone while still wearing its OtterBox case which is thick. The fit isn't perfect, but it is easy to do and the clamping mechanism tightens to where I don't worry that it might pop out. If it lasts a year before breaking, it will be worth it!

This was a gift for my daughter and she really enjoys it. We went to White Sands New Mexico and she used it while on the sand dunes, and the sand did not effect it functionality!!! I was really surprised because I thought it would get jammed up. It was easy to set up, IPhone 7plus fit in it perfectly and it was so steady. Over all— great product and price.

I bought this to repurpose my old galaxy 5s phone as a video camera. The rig is lite and has a good feel to it. The only challenge I'm having with the rig is keeping my phone from sliding. For me I took a piece of cardboard and placed in the back of the rig and that helped with stabilizing my phone,the seller could send some additional padding this would help the end user in securing there phone. The concept is great.

If you like filming with your smart phone, then this is perfect for just about any occasion. The design is pretty durable. It's already taken a spill onto the floor and it just bounces right back again. I wish it had a few more 1/4" holes for mounting attachments. I have purchased some 1/4" screws and put them in to mount other things without the cold shoe mount on it. You can get the cell phone holder grips and put extra batteries on the mount even, which is something that may be beneficial for you if you plan on prolonged shooting. I've seen a few people say their cell phone will slide right out of this rig. Well, if you do not clamp it down and then tighten it up, of course it is going to fall out. Great product for a super cheap price.

You cannot beat this at this price. Yes, it is all plastic save the threads, yes the design is simple, but for 10 or 11 dollars, you cannot get anything nearly as good for anywhere near this price. The phone will not slip out if you make sure that both sides of the phone are pressed against the back edge (closest to you) and press down on the slider firmly before tightening the screw. The first time I put the phone in it did almost slide out, but once I saw that the phone was in the groove on a diagonal (the bottom edge of the phone was touching the rig in the back, while the top edge was touching the front), I realized my error. Once I put it in "correctly" It was so secure I was able to hit it on the end like a ketchup bottle and the phone didn't budge.One thing to consider: the gap between the front of the rig and the lip that keeps the phone from slipping is only 3/8s of an inch, maybe 1/2. If you have a bulky case, you may have to remove it in order for the phone to fit.

This rig is perfect! I’ve bought other phone stabilizers for tripods but this one is the most sturdy, it’s very easy to set up and fits all kinds of sizes of phones. I was even able to put my phone with the case on it, the only thing that I had to take off was the pop-socket on my phone. Otherwise it worked really well!

Liked the price. It’s light and I liked the adjustable knob to be sure it would fit my phone.You can see my 8 plus is about the biggest kind of phone that this will hold.I know it’s cheap but didn’t expect the imperfections right out of the box.Red rubber is coming up and metal is not placed correctly on the mounts. Hopefully not too difficult a fix but when you buy something new you expect it to at least be like the picture with everything I’m working order.Also, with my otter box defender case the lips on the clamps aren’t wide enough so it will slip out unless you tighten it really well, but not too tight because overtightening it will probably break the plastic.Not bad if you want something affordable, just hopefully not all have factory defects. I know I could probably get a replacement but not in time for the trip I bought it for I don’t think. Trip leaves in less than 4 days.

Auf der Oberseite steckt im Schlitten ein Boyo Mikrofon welches wir in Verbindung mit dem Smartphone nutzen.Rechts und links auf der Rahmen wäre noch Platz für Beleuchtungselemente aber diese nutzen wir nicht.Der Rahmen ist gut zu halten und die Verarbeitung ist sehr gut. Mit seinem leichten Gewicht transportieren wir das gesamte Set in einem kleinen Alukoffer. Genial.Absolut zu empfehlen.

I genuinely think the positive reviews on this are fake; I can't see how anyone would ignore the fact that the clamp doesn't hold phones. It's like a warm fridge or buttonless controller, it just doesn't do what it's supposed to.The clamp that you screw tight to keep the phone in place doesn't screw tight enough to keep a phone in place.In other words, the bit that moves up and down to fit any phone can't be tightened in place. So if you put your phone in, a slight bit of movement causes the bit the move up and the phone to fall out.Other than that, for the price the thing is in fairness solidly built. A bunch of elastic bands might fix it.I honestly just want to meet the person who designed this, and ask them what they were thinking!EDIT: Oh my God I am so sorry y'all. There was a washer included and when that's in place the thing works perfectly. This was completely my fault. I should have known there was a washer. I had managed to hack a fick by gluing things together and jamming them in. But it turns out that this does exactly what it's supposed to!
