Precise affordable cutter
Highly recommend. Easy to use, price is great and it’s not too bulky or heavy. Grid and measurement lines are accurate and easy to read. I especially like that it’s lightweight versus those bulkier ones. Quality cuts, blade is very sharp and the arm moves easily. It functions well with card stock and laminated sheets. I love cutting with this thing!

Great product, great seller
so happy with this paper cutter. I do paper crafting/card making and this baby cuts clean and straight. Not too big. doesn't take up you're entire work area. Super pleased would suggest it to anyone . This is my 4th attempt at purchasing a paper trimmer and this one beats all the rest. The price is reasonable and it shipped out so fast I was surprised when it had arrived.

Heavy duty
This cutter has been very useful for me for a variety of things: cutting thick paper, fabrics, you name it! It’s very easy to use and heavy duty with two rulers to help align what you’re cutting and measure pieces

8 paper max
Well packaged, easy to assemble, lightweight, sharp blade all good. Except it does NOT cut 15 sheets of paper, not even 10. The max it would cut was 8 sheets of regular printer paper. So although it does not cut 15 as advertised, it is a pretty decent and works.

Does the job, but really needs a sheathe for the blade when not in use
The cutter comes in a sturdy box. The handle, paper shield and magnetic measuring border are all in their own sealed plastic bag. The cutter—both blade and metal base—are naked and just in the box. I mention this, because the blade is uncovered, unprotected, and already installed. It is not locked into the side, there is no sheathe on the sharp edge, and when you lift it from the box, the handle hasn’t been installed, so there’s nothing to keep the blade from extending past the edge of the base and slicing into someone. This is how I found out the blade isn’t as sharp as a pair of good sewing scissors, because my fingers were in the way as it pressed down. I remain undamaged.Upside, the handle installs very easily, with little effort. The base is metal and solid. The cutting shield goes on and locks in well, with a very generous finger shield. The magnetic border sticks well to the base. For use: 5 sheets of 60 lb sketching paper cut well. The magnet holds its position, and the finger shield stayed locked in. Cut quickly with a confident downstroke, and it’s done. Cutting slowly makes the paper want to drag and buckle with the forward glide of the blade. However, 8 sheets of the same paper and there was a definite increase in the amount of effort it took to cut. (I’ll be sharpening the blade later.)Otherwise, it does the job I asked of it. Complaints are that I would like a sheathe for the blade when it’s not in use. Once the handle is installed, the entire machine won’t fit back in the box it came in for storage. So, there’s nothing protecting the blade—or me—from damage. For the price I won’t complain much, because it does work, and I love that it’s a solid metal base, rather than a flimsy plastic one. I’ll see how much I still love it once I’ve gotten something to sharpen it with.

worth the money
it is a little lightweight, but works like a champ on paper up to 7 pages at a time. Cuts extremely well. Very sharp

Why did you pick this product vs others?:This is really sharp and cuts clean edges. I love all the measurements on it and the guides to help keep everything aligned.

Adequate for most jobs with exceptions
I bou7ght this to trim card stock into labels. i used one sheet at a time. here's what I found:1. Assembly was one step.2. Instructions were difficult to see but not understanbd. All pictuyres.3. The blade is integral to the handle. It uses a scissor-like action, but the blade is not sharp like on more expensive units.4. Higher contrast markings on the surface would be nice. Lines are not always easy to see, especially if you have vision issues like me.5. On long cuts, the end of the letter-size sheet would not cut well. It was like the blades did not approximate each other well. Also, the edge tended tu lift and give a slight curve on the ends of longer cuts.6. The top edge guide is formed by a a bend upward of the top surface metal. It has a rounded corner that doesn't allow a definite squared stop, allowing the paper to ride up on one side giving a cut that isn't square at the paper corner.6. On thin paper, it didn't always cut smoothly. So, it did the job for me for this task. I don't recommend it for any job where precision is important or where thin paper is used. It's reasonably sturdy and you should be able to sharpen the blade (square its edge) if ever needed. I probably wouldn't have bought it if I had seen it first.
