Nova Lamp Blue Liquid White Wax 15"

This item is stunning only problem it gets extremely hot very fast.

Just thought I would add some extra information as the product description seems a bit lacking, which nearly put me off buying.The hight when assembled is approximately 38cm or 15" with about 19cm or 7 1/2" of glass which is roughly the size of the old lava lamps. A lot of the new one are much smaller which only allows for a single bubble of lava to float up and down. These however, are much better, functioning identically to the picture with multiple bubbles of lava, making for a much better lamp.In addition the lamp does not use standard incandescent light bulbs, as the EU has banned their use and is phasing them out, but rather a R39 30W bulb. I picked up some spare from B&Q for £1.20 each. Make sure the switch on the lamp is off before plugging it into a wall socket as this blew one of bulbs when I first set the product up, but since then have been using the same bulb so can not fault the product for this.There are three colours to choose from, initially I bought just the blue but was so happy that I subsequently bought the other two, red and yellow/purple. Out of the three I think the blue is my favourite.

This lava lamp is awesome. Looks a lot better than the standard shape. It works perfectly.I see some comments have said the wax in theirs doesn't flow properly. I can guarantee there's nothing technical about a lava lamp. If the light bulb is working then the wax will heat up and flow eventually. It can take between 1-2 hours to warm up depending on how low the room temperature is, it may take a little longer.It's so relaxing to watch.Definitely recommend this lamp

This is the genuine metal product, not the knock-off plastic one. It is a really nice product, not too heavy. My only issue is that the protective packaging inside the tube is probably not enough, my product arrived pretty bashed up, The lid is dented in and the bulb was smashed so had to buy a new set of lava lamp bulbs - this could've been the fault of it getting chucked around by the mail provider but better packaging would of prevented this.

Honestly can’t fault it. Did as the instructions said about having it on for a few hours first so it heats up quicker later. The colour is spot on and perfect and glows lovely. The wax melts amazing and is fun and a bit mesmerising to watch.

I got my two teenage sons each one of these and they absolutely love them, takes a while to warm up but they switch them on each evening when they get home from school/college and realy enjoy the relaxing atmosphere created by the lamps, for study and getting to sleep. Hihgly recommended. I can't comment on how or why the expensive versions are better, but these seem great value in comparison.

I bought this lamp for my son as a Christmas gift. As we left for Christmas in France and UK has been placed in lockdown, I just offered it when we came back a couple of days ago.He plugged it. It began to make beautiful lava bubbles but it smelled warmth a lot. So I prefered to put the light off for the night.The day after my son put the light on again, no bubbles. It just got very warm and we could see the resistance floating in the liquid.So disappointed.I would like this item to be replaced.

The media could not be loaded. I absolutley love this... i'm disabled so couldn't look after a fish tank so this was the next best thing, it's fixating, calming & beautiful to watch & whilst this might not be the cheapest 1 out there, It's deffinatley the best.Very easy to assemble with clear instructions... highly reccomended by me :-)
