The media could not be loaded. Bought this for a party at home. I am not disappointed. I'm really impressed with the variety of patterns, combinations and additional option of uv light. You can single out patterns or mix some or all together. Great quality piece of kit 👌

Got through 3 other lights before finding this one, which does actually respond to music. While this is not like sound to light lasers at a club, it does respond to bass at volumes that won’t upset neighbours. Mains cable could be longer, but I added extension “kettle lead”. Kids love the bright effects, after telling them not to look directly “up the beams”. This is programmable via socket on the rear, but I am too old to investigate this! Pictures in advertising are true to life.

Fantastic, smaller than we thought but great

The LA500 disco lights pack in a lot of features for the price. Out of the box, setup is straightforward just plug it in, pair via Bluetooth and download the app. The app gives full control over lighting modes, and I liked that you don’t need to spend ages customising if you don’t want to there are hundreds of pre-loaded patterns ready to go.For those wanting more, the ability to create custom animations and scrolling text is a big plus. It worked well for setting themed messages during a party and the 3D visual effects are surprisingly crisp. There’s also support for DMX512, which gives added flexibility if you want to integrate it into a larger lighting setup.The lights themselves are bright, with a strong strobe and a wide variety of colour options. Sound response mode adds to the fun by syncing the lights to music beats. Although it’s not a professional-grade unit, for home parties or events it really delivers and the fact it can be app-controlled means no fiddling with buttons mid-event.Overall, a solid purchase for casual DJs, party hosts, or anyone looking to add visual energy to a room.
