Great brand
I used to shoot pool on regular basis. I used to used another brand. From the I applied it to my cue tip I found I didn't have apply as often. I also noticed when applying for difficult shots, 9 times out of 10 I made the shot. Don't worry I'll be back for more.

Its not all about the name....
Well I thought I would give this chalk a try since it's made by the same company that makes Blue Diamond chalk and it's comparably priced. I wouldn't say it's bad chalk, but it absolutely isn't the quality Blue Diamond is. It's a decent chalk, goes on a little thin in my opinion and doesn't have the holding strength to stay on the tip for more than 1 shot, a lot of residue left on the table at the contact point of the shot. And after playing for a couple hrs it seemed to glaze my tip over slightly. I never miscued but i could feel the the difference in my english, I needed to stroke the ball a bit firmer to get the action i was wanting. I would rate it about the same as Masters. A good standard pool room chalk but not the premium chalk it's price reflects. I play quite a bit of high level competitive pool and when the cash is on the line, I'll stick to my Blue Diamond. This stuff is basically way over priced masters or triangle chalk, it works but not worth the money they want for it.

Eh, to hard for me
So for me , im not a fan. Its not "bad" chalk per say., But its not for me. I definitely prefer a "softer chalk" like magic or lava. Yes, this stuff does glide on nice and smooth, but you've got to really get it on there. The way it feels when applying is not worth the time and effort. As for the feel when shooting, im also not super impressed. It stays on the tip well , but that doesn't mean you won't miscue . It fooled me when I first used it , it looked as though I could get another shot before a chalk and Although it looked to be covered, I still miscued. So overall with how hard this chalk is , it doesn't grip well , nor apply well. Get some magic chalk you can't go wrong there.

Long lasting
I bought this because of covid 19, so I wouldn't have to handle the table chalk. It is soft and long lasting on the tip. Doesn't require chalking after every shot.Goes a long way.

Life-Changing Chalk
Just bought a three-pack. I've been playing with Dark Blue Master chalk for over 20 years. I found this chalk left on a table at my local pool hall last week and it became my new favorite immediately. It's much more dense. I agree with the general feeling that it is pretty messy compared to most other brands, but as long as I'm getting all of the balls in the pockets, I don't care.

Best Chalk
Great holding chalk that does not float all over like a talc powder. If tip is properly prepared chalk works great. Highly recommend.
