I actually bought these to put on some wire shelves to make table tops. I had to trim mine to fit into the shelf, but they are super sturdy and made extremely well. I absolutely love them. Water doesn't sink into them, anything that has spilled on them has cleaned up easy. I will be buying more of these for their intended purpose.

Bamboo boards are strong and sustainable. I turned mine into a shelf with iron feet found on Amazon, so now it fits over my Breville air fryer. This saved me a few bucks and allowed me to make it taller (to better dissipate the heat) than the ready-made model here on Amazon. As a cutting board in itself, I'd also highly recommend it. This is was the second I purchased from this brand. The first one has been around for 3 years and is still going strong. The groove is deep enough to catch the juices of a 3 lb roast, but narrow enough to maximise the available cutting surface. Just don't let this or any wooden cutting board sit in water. Wash it by hand immediately after each use and sanitize it often.

I like that it can be washed in warm "Warter" !!!

Though I did not purchase this to use as a cutting board, I am certain it would fulfill that need wonderfully as well. I am disabled and prefer to sit when preparing meals, and at our old condo I used the pull-out cutting board for that purpose. But our new home has no pull-out cutting board, so I carefully measured the sizes of the drawers in our kitchen and purchased this board because it will fit on top of my drawers when pulled out (the drawers are very sturdy, but even so I know better than to put excessive weight on the board in this arrangement). I installed rubber feet (also purchased on Amazon) on the bottom of the board to firmly hold it in place on the various size drawers (as stoppers, to prevent it from sliding laterally), so I can use it at any location in the kitchen. It works great, and I can pull up my kitchen stool to this drawer-supported board with my knees under the drawer, and get my tasks done without expending excess energy! If anyone else has trouble standing for a while and would like to do the same thing, I'm happy to provide more details if you can't figure it out for yourself.

Just re-oiled this cutting board to keep it in good working and looking condition. I actually flipped mine over and attached rubber feet to it to keep it from sliding around on my counter top, I don't need the edge cut ridge, it just takes away precious cutting area as I wipe debris into the sink. The divited ridge actually gets in the way and while it looks nice, is pointless for my use. Can't find a better a price on this nicely sized piece of bamboo, plenty big, thick and larger than your average cutting board. Very pleased, nice buy.

I loved this guy when I took it out of the box. It's big, thick, heavy beautiful (dramatic really) and seemingly well made.But it seems like every time I touch it I get some slivers, and believe me, I've sanded the edges several times now. Maybe it's just inherent in bamboo, or the kind of bamboo used, but I don't think it's fully finished. Hopefully, this last pass with the sandpaper will do the trick, but I'm worried about actually using it. I'm afraid cutting on it will generate more slivers, and I sure don't want them in my food I'm more than a little wary.
