Q: Why did my router come with a European power adapter? Did this happen to others?

The E2000 router should use a power adapter that is suited for the European electrical standard which 220V to avoid electrical overload. This usually happens when the router will be used in Europe.

Hi, I live on 2000 sq/ft the router works find.

Q: 120 volt or 240 volt?

It works on both 110 and 240 volts, because it works with an adapter for lower voltage (I think 12 V). I'm not selling mine with an adapter, I don't have that anymore, but you can use any adapter bought online or in the store, as long as it provides the correct lower voltage to the Router.

Q: Can you tell me what firmware is install on this router? I need to one with the initial firmware that came with the device. Looking for v.16785

I believe I still have the original firmware that came with the router which is 1.0.04 build 7 and it can be upgraded from the manufacturer website. However, I have found not need to upgrade
