UnisonColour : Soft Pastel : Set of 36 Emma Colbert Animal Collection

Arrived when scheduled and they have definitely met expectations. I am a novice at animal portraits and bought these on a recommendation. They are easy to use and blend and have made a massive difference to my artwork.Really pleased and very much enjoy using them.

Well packaged, arrived very quickly, high quality creamy pastels.

I am new to pastels, but the colours of these persuaded me to give them a go, and I love them. Very soft and almost creamy in texture, the colours lay down very well. They are rather dusty, however. I have only tried them on velour so far, maybe Pastelmat would grip the pigment a bit more. But they are lovely, nonetheless.

I have only recently started using soft pastels, and when I first started I used a different make, equally expensive but much more liable to break in the hand and crumble into useless pieces. So Unison pastels are really much less likely to break in the hand. Of course with any soft pastel you have to treat it with respect. I love their selection of colours - cheapest if you buy them in a box - but you can also get them singly at their own website.
