I was hesitant because the rivet joint in the arm didn't look like it locked down securely. I am happy to report that there is substantial resistance and it does not flop or move around once you locate it where you want it. There's a wide range of adjustment. The whole assembly can be flipped over so it's pretty limitless on the angles and positions you can achieve. I've got one now in all my vehicles and they're all oriented in different spots.It's very sturdy. It's a solid design and a good hunk of aluminum. I go rock crawling in my truck and use the phone for nav and comms, despite some heavy bouncing and fast bumpy off road, the mount doesn't move around at all. The phone is in an Otterbox Commuter and the magnet held it perfect all day. Great value considering the quality.

I love this little thing!It feels very sturdy and has all the adjust-ability I could need with easy-to-grab knobs for loosening and tightening the various adjustment points.The magnet is strong enough to easily hold onto my phone and case; I've never had the phone fall out of the magnetic mount.It's also pretty stylish, in my opinion, with a subtle logo in the center of the magnetic mount that's visible when my phone isn't covering it. Passengers often comment that it's a good looking phone mount (it is!) when my phone's not there.I originally ordered two, and while one of them came loose due to poor adhesion, I pulled it off, cleaned up the adhesive on my dashboard, and Syncwire's service team promptly sent a replacement to me (thank you, June).

Thought I had found the perfect solution for mounting my phone in my Subaru Forester. Placed the mounting pad vertically on the inside of the cubby under the radio. Perfect location--phone got in the way of nothing! Held fabulously for about 5 days until the NC heat took its toll and the adhesive came loose. Build quality and functionality is excellent if you can get it mounted properly. Success depends on where you stick the adhesive. Will look into another adhesive tape that will work better on LSE type plastics and more heat resistant. Thinking 3M VHB Tape LSE series.

The mount itself is fantastic it worked great for me and is very sturdy. I even bought one for my boyfriend I liked it so much. I bought a new vehicle and had to change out the sticky pad to place it in my new truck. Well the sticky pad worked for about 6 months and then once it started getting cold the sticky pad no longer worked. The kit came with 2 adhesive pads and I no longer have extra. When my boyfriend first mounted his the adhesive would not stick which I believed it to be the cold. He then used the extra adhesive it came with on a warmer day and got it to stick. Once it got cold again the adhesive failed. It’s a shame because I like the mounts but we are out of adhesive pads and there is no where to buy extra adhesive pads.

Love this ! I got it for myself last year and just had to get one for my boyfriend because he was tired of seeing me use mine while he didn’t have one for his truck lol
