Jack's Amazing Shadow

My kids loves this story it's talk about the best friend.

What a great book. Very cute with a hint of science in it. My son loves reading it. Great way to begin a discussion on shadows.

I bought this book to read at a local nursery. The kids (3-5yr olds) really love it, and I have been reading it non stop for a week. It has lovely interesting illustrations, a character they can identify with, some magic goings on and a great message about how we all get cross sometimes (even with our best friends) but that if we say sorry then things usually work out ok.(plus I am using it as part of a project to get the kids exploring shadows)Highly recommended.

Jack's Amazing Shadow is a really lovely book. The artist's style and the use of colour is really engaging and designed to catch young eyes. The story is really sweet, one I think a lot of kids will relate to, and really sparks the imagination! The length is great too, as my little one has a short attention span but stayed with me the whole way through. All around great story for little ones, boys or girls...

I love Tom Percival books. And this didn’t let us down. Great for kids to help think about and understand their feelings.

The children loved it!

Having enjoyed both "the super scary ghost book" and "a home for mr tipps" we were looking forward to another book. And this one wont disappoint. My children 3 & 6 really love this. The illustrations as always are brilliant. And the examples of shadow animals have been the source of lots of fun.
