Solid product
Required to weatherproof an outside coax line leaving the house to the back yardDid have to drill a hole into the back of the box for the coax, but spade bit cut the hole nicely and box held up to drilling well.Good product for the price

Item is as specified
The item arrived quickly and is as specified. I purchased it so that I could enclose a trailer fuse box in it (which fits perfectly). I have not yet installed this box on the trailer so I cannot speak for it's weatherproof-ness. The white plastic seems robust enough. There's a good quality rubber gasket in the lid and the lid fits snug to the body so I'll presume that the water resistance is sufficient. The feed-through hole covers are very flexible and thin so I have a few doubts as to their weatherproof-ness but I can always replace them with electrical conduit plugs or plumbing plugs and seal them with RTV. For the price, I think that it will do the job very well.

Nice housing for my relays
I used this box to house 2 relays used for smart thermostats. They fit great and had enough room to add a third one if needed. The grommets worked well with the low voltage wires.

Very easy to use--until you try to affix the cover plate
Used two of the 5.9 x 4.3 inch boxes several inches above the ground. The 4 cover screws are tiny, short, and need to find a tiny entrance hole at the bottom of a deep well slightly wider than the screwdriver shaft It took 45 minutes--using a powerful magnet attached to the screwdriver shaft to get 3 of them into place. The 4th would neither screw in or extract out. Having a second box to cover and dreading another opening & closing if there were circuit problems, I ransacked my screw collection and found my best substitute in 1-1/2" flush head deck screws. After enlarging the pilot holes they twisted in effortlessly in seconds, and covered the screw well at the surface, ending the blind probing with a screwdriver.Aside from that I liked the product. PVC thread adapters screwed directly into the side water-and air-tight. The hole plugs are thick and fit tightly. The 10-hole design perfect for my 4-lines of underground conduit, and the price was way better than the inconvenient 4-hole boxes traditionally used.

Good box
The media could not be loaded. I got the 5.9x5.9x2.8 box and its good, I had a problem with an adapter socket not small enough to pass through the hole so I had to make it bigger by using a cutter and sealed the extra opening I made with silicone, so make sure you check the size of your sockets before ordering this to make sure they fit, otherwise you’ll have to manually modify the holes, which is not a big deal. I think the holes are about a 1 inch diameter. Still giving it a 5 stars because the is good I just had a size mismatch issue which my fault.

Great for dangling cable wires outside my house
This works great for concealing dangling cable wires outside my house. The builder just left the wires hanging and I don't need cable, so this box was a life saver.

Great little ABS Plastic and Weatherproof Junction Box for Outdoor Applications
Used this junction box to terminate an outdoor speaker.Build quality is great and the rubber boots(grommets) are great for feeding wires through and ensure a tight seal. Front lid/cover did not appear to have a seal of any sort and is a clip-on style cover rather than threaded so there may be room for liquid to leak into the housing if it was used in an application where it is exposed to alot of this.

A simple engineering failure makes using this box a nightmare.
What would you use this box for? As an amateur radio operator I would use it for a coaxial cable entry point for my shack. Where the box is usually mounted low to give better access to earth stakes and where the cables come in beneath the radio. And for this it is perfect……until you go and try and reattach the lid.The holes for the lid screws are large but the screws are tiny. Not even my magnetic screwdriver could hold the screws horizontal enough to get these tiny screws centred in the large hole. Much swearing, much dropping tiny screws in the dirt, a sore back from stooping so low for so long and I was ready to kick this box to kingdom come. In the end the only way I could do it was to dip my screwdriver in silastic and shine a very bright light down the hole. Success at last but my plan to cut back drinking has failed tonight.

So far so good.
I bought this to house a circuit board that contains a wifi antenna for remote control of my pool pump. The requirements were that it be weatherproof, bug proof, and looks fairly good. First off I had to drill through the back to create mounting screw holes. Not a big deal. Second, the rubber grommets were high quality and you can cut through them to insert wiring while maintaining a fairly tight seal. No creepy crawlies going in so far, but as for weather I'll have to wait a year and update you. We get extremes in weather, 30 degrees Celius in summer, -30 degrees in winter. Hard on electronics to be sure. If you are using it as a true junction box you won't be disappointed.Ok one year update. The plastic corners are cracking, likely due to weather. Where I inserted the wires spiders are getting into the smallest holes. The gasket between the box and lid falls out, but I guess that's minor. I've learned that I need to seal the gaps in the grommets with silicone. I wanted to paint the whole thing black and whilst the plastic is easy, the soft rubber grommets did not take the spray paint well, leaving them sticky. Any suggestions? The electronics held up.
