The PYUNKANG YUL Brightening Vita Toner has a cool look to the bottle being it's colored red although the actual toner is clear just to make you aware. So much so that it's even suitable for a man and as a guy I have no problem leaving it on my counter in view of anyone using the bathroom. I use a toner due to oily skin generally mostly in the T zone, my nose on up and my forehead. I do have dry areas on my face like my cheeks. This toner is clear, no scent, watery in texture but smooths on easily and absorbs into my face decent. I suppose after using it I do notice a subtle brightening to my skin but it's nothing over the top where anyone would truly notice. I feel like the quality is there and it's been doing well keeping my skin looking good and feeling soft. It seems to balance out my skin plus keep my oil levels in check on my nose and forehead.

This serum is excellent. I just use my hands in the morning and sort of shake some onto my palms, and then pat my palms into my skin after cleansing. After that, I let the serum dry a bit and then I layer on moisturizer and sunscreen.It has a consistency just barely thicker than water, and w very light, almost-not-there scent. It absorbs quickly into the skin and doesn't leave behind any residue.I have noticed my skin feeling more moisturized and smooth. I feel brighter and happier! Acne is fewer and further between.

I am new to Korean skincare and really enjoy this toner. As others have said, it feels incredibly moisturizing. If there are instructions on the box, I can't understand them because none are in English (but printing on the product itself is). This was a little bit of a bummer because I just like reading that stuff, especially if it includes guidance of when or how to use. Still, I'm a smart cookie and seem to be doing fine on my own.I really like how this makes my skin feel and the scent is so subtle and lovely. I definitely recommend this and am glad to have it in my collection!

Can’t tell if this has a scent at all – while removing from the box initially I thought there might have been a scent but every time I’ve used it since I can’t smell anything (which is perfectly fine). It’s a great basic toner that adds some vitamins and pampering to the skin during my routine. I prefer the other dispenser lids with the small hole you squeeze the toner out of than this which the whole cap comes off like in their green bottle of Ultimate Calming Solution - I find it less messy since I don’t use a cotton pad which is a bit wasteful for the purpose of this toner, I just apply it directly to my hand and pat on my face. Not the most exciting toner I’ve used, and the EWG mentions in the product photos is a bit cringy (not the greatest resource) but I understand the marketing. For vitamin C this is fine, but I much prefer the other toners from Pyunkang Yul for whatever reason – likely my personal skin preference.

This is the first toner I've ever used that actually made a noticeable difference in my skin. I am 51 years old and have normal skin. This toner was extremely moisturizing. I could see a difference in the lines in my lower cheeks right after using it; they weren't as visible. Overall, I definitely think this made my skin look better. I don't have blemishes, so I'm not sure if this is effect with them. There was absolutely no irritation and the toner doesn't have a smell. I applied it to my face with a cotton pad and used my daily serums and moisturizer.The toner arrived in a sealed box and there was a seal on the dispenser as well. The bottle leaked somewhat, but it wasn't anything major. I highly recommend this!

I've been using this toner for over a week and find it decently hydrating. I typically go for soothing/calming toners since my skin tends to be sensitive and I'm glad to report that this doesn't irritate my skin and feels a tad cooling. It includes vita c as well as other ingredients like niacinamide and makes a well rounded, multifunction toner while being gentle. It's watery, scent free and sinks in quickly that I can press multiple layers on or use it with cotton pads as a toner pad/mini sheet mask. On it's own, I like it but nothing special stands out much for me, although it does leave a soft healthy glow. The real money is pairing this with the accompanying brightening serum for that fresh, dewy honey skin glow. Using both in the same routine has really kept my skin balanced and less oily—not shiny but radiant. I'm sure you can still achieve brightening, hydration and sebum control with just the toner, it will just take longer on it's own.

Really straight forward and simple to use. Probably the quickest part of my routine. I love what it does for my skin and I have not had any irritation so far!
