Extra security is what I was wanting for our home, and this product is exactly what I was looking for! First off, the ease of installation was great, the build quality is solid, it fit perfectly on our doors, and functions exactly as was expected. Also, great value for the money! Two thumbs up!!!

The armor itself is excellent. I would recommend having a spare drill bit as the one included may be of poor quality. Replacing the original screws with star headed brass screws will only enhance installation and overall security.

The finish matches my door hardware reasonably well and looks professional once installed.I'm deducting one star because the screws, while long and sturdy, could be of slightly better quality - a couple of them showed minor stripping issues during installation. Also, while the set works great, you may need additional tools beyond what's mentioned if your door frame has any irregularities.Overall, this reinforcement set provides excellent value and genuine security enhancement. It's a worthwhile investment for anyone looking to strengthen their entry doors without the expense of complete replacement. I feel much more confident about my home security after this installation.

Ordered this to reinforce my front door. Package was missing all of the screws. Will update review if I am able to get these items and see how well the product holds up.

The drill bit I got in my package was too large for the screws! The screws flopped around in the initial pilot holes I drilled. I estimate the bit was about 3/16" diameter rather than the 9/64" specified in the instructions. I had to run to the hardware store to buy the right sized bit and larger screws to fit the holes I had already drilled. DOUBLE CHECK THE DRILL BIT SIZE THAT COMES IN THE PACKAGE!Once the drill bit and screw size problem was sorted out, I was mostly happy with the assembled product, and I ordered a second set for another entry door. The screws they provide only sit flush on the jamb shield, but stick out slightly on the door and hinge shields. It didn't seem to negatively affect smooth door operation though.

This kit has all you need to beef up a front door jamb. The pieces are nice and thick to deter easier kicking in of the door. It’s a nice piece of mind. They even include the drill bit for drilling the holes.
