Lightweight and gives off a tremendous amount of light. Also has various brightness settings. I have a Maglight that is good for spot applications but this lantern will easily light up a room. Great for those occasions where the power goes out. I love that it will recharge via solar or USB. Even works on D cell batteries. I wish I had this when camping years ago. Much better and safer than my old Coleman Lantern which I still have. Fits nicely on a shelf in my kitchen area (see picture) My daughter purchased one and I just had to get one for myself.

This lantern delivers and the description fits it's performance. The brightest setting puts out a lot of light. It's lightweight and easy to carry or hang if needed. The battery charging options are very handy when not near a power source. Definitely worth the price. I've given several as gifts and each time the recipient loves it.

These things are great and they're way bright enough you don't need more than 2000 lm... 2 ways to charge besides using D cells. I gave one away brand new. They make a great gift now that leaves me with six for myself. I had three I had bought somewhere else, a big membership store... Then I purchased four off of Amazon.

it is so bright - with many levels - 3 different ways to power it - very light to carry - use a hook to hang or huge base to place on flate top - i just purchased another for my son in law - i'm a happy camper - thank you amazon -

Using in a storage area with no lighting. Works well to hang from the ceiling with a straightened out hanger to illuminate the whole space. Well made unit, long battery life, the four D cell back up power is genius. I keep four batteries in the storage area just in case.
