Miele Generic Turbo Rotating Brush Attachment

I bought this for my Miele S7 Salsa upright. My last vacuum had a turbo tool, which I missed, but the Miele equivalent cost $75. I'm sure it's very high-quality, but I couldn't justify spending that much on a single attachment.This one does a fantastic job. It's great at removing pet hair, which is important since my white cat loves to sleep on my dark flannel sheets. It has a set of rubbery nubs on the bottom that dig into carpet nicely, and you can pop them off to clean upholstery. It also comes apart easily (there's a collar on the neck that unscrews) to clean out any dirt that builds up inside. I haven't used it long enough to know how it will hold up, but it seems to be very sturdy and well-made.It's worth mentioning that the tool itself is the standard 1 1/4" size, but it comes with a Miele adapter. I thought that was a nice bonus since I can use other standard vacuum tools now too.As of now there is one other review, saying that it didn't fit and they thought it would be a genuine Miele part. I don't know if the description has been changed since then, but I thought the title and description made it very clear that it's a generic version. It also fits my vacuum perfectly, so I wonder if the seller forgot to include the adapter, or perhaps Miele uses more than one size.

The description leads you to believe that the item is a Miele attachment but we have a Miele White Pearl and this doesn't fit the house. Further, the Miele has power brushes but this is designed to use the air flow of the vacuum to turn the rotating brush so I would not expect a very powerful brushing action. I tried this attachment on our Panasonic Vacuum, it didn't fit. I tried this attachment on our Kenmore Vacuum, it didn't fit. I tried this attachment on our ShopVac, it didn't work. I tried it on our Shop Smith Vacuum, it didn't work. As you might expect, I returned the item. I received a note from the seller indicating that I "might have needed an adapter to make this work. Not sure how it is appropriate to advertise something with the Miele name when it is clearly not a Miele item.

Does not fit on my Miele vaccuum! Unfortunately, I waited too long to try to return it, and they rejected my application. Now I'm just stuck with it.

This is not a Miele product and it does not fit on Miele vacuums. It does not come with an adapter. Rip off.
