My old Sony A/V home theatre unit quit working. I replaced with a newer Sony. For some reason the new unit didn't have the banana plugs! I didn't want to strip the connectors, so I bought these. They work great!

These are great for my older speakers that don’t take banana plugs, the banana plug fits in this adapter perfectly and the flex pin into my speakers. So much better than bare wire !

Should have included directions to use with Banana Plugs

As a hobby I repair vintage audio, as a hobbyist I only charge for parts. Most of the gear has spring clip connectors. In order to test out the repair I was using flex pin connectors on my speaker wire. Worked of but had to always press on the clips, which sometimes broke or was too wide to fit some clips. Started using this adapter which allows me to keep the connector on the terminal and use banana plugs on the wire. Found these to work with all but the twist type found on Technics gear.
