Works great, use it for timing how long to complete projects

It’s so convenient and I love the ability to not have an alarm just a blinking light.It makes it not tacky and annoying having that ability.

I've had this for two years and it's still working well. The screen is easy to see even in its dimmer mode. The only thing I don't like about the device is that if you tell it to count upward, like a stopwatch, when it gets to the arbitrary maximum time of 199 minutes, it beeps loudly. If you set it to count upward and forget about it, it will be loud until you wake up or go hunting for it in the house to shut it up. But if you don't do that, it's quite a good little device. It's not supposed to be waterproof, but I've used it around water a lot (bathtub, kitchen sink) with no ill effects. In two years I think I've had to change the batteries two or three times. It's quite energy efficient.

The most intuitive, enjoyable to use, exactly what you're looking for in a countdown and count up timer. Just great: really, like it.

Up front, if it worked as I think it should this would be perfect. If you're looking for a one button device to use as a timer then this is probably what you're looking at.It works... mostly. But it has the infuriating habit of adding random seconds.I always want to set this to go off every 15 minutes to remind me to get up and out of my desk chair (for back reasons), but every time I go to set it to 15 minutes, it always adds on some seconds.All day today it kept adding 15 seconds turning my 15 min into 15min, 15 sec.Just now it decided to add 20 seconds.There's nothing in the instructions about this.If you need this to be precise for some reason, this may be an issue for you.Not a big deal for my particular use so I'll go on using it. It's just what I've been looking for. Just a little flawed.

I'm pretty sure I'm the only one that uses this timer for this, but it works well for my purposes:I (as an official Old Guy) take multiple medications. Most of them I simply take in the morning, so I put them all in a weekly pill-reminder box, and that's that. If I forget and want to make sure I took today's pills, I can just look to see whether today's pill-compartment is empty.But one of my medications needs to be taken at night, so I take that medication right out of the prescription bottle, and if later I can't remember if I took it or not, there's no real way for me to tell (other than count pills and do the math and that's right out).So I keep this little timer next to my meds and it solves that problem for me:When I take my evening medication, I just hit the top of the timer to turn it on, then hit it again to let it start counting down from 199:55. For the next 3 hours and 20 minutes, that timer is lit up and counting down, so if I have any doubts about whether I've taking my night-time meds or not, I can just go look at the timer. If it's on, I took them.Then, by the time I go to bed, it shuts itself off and is ready for use the next day. (I have it set to "silent" so that it doesn't beep when it reaches 0).Honestly, now that I've started doing things that way I almost never have any doubts about whether I've taken my nightly meds, because just the act of starting the timer makes me remember it. But if I do ever need the reminder, there it is!Perfect little timer for that purpose!
