This tape is super easy to cut and apply I trimmed a few inch-long strips and stuck them right along the edges. Does exactly what it is intended for. The weight is accurate. The adhesive is very good too (I've been able to reuse or relocate the strips multiple times and it still sticks). Good simple product.

Only 4 stars because it’s not coated, but that’s easy enough to do with some electrical tape. At .5 grams per inch, the possibilities for weight manipulation are endless. Using 3 gram precut strips is ok, but you’re stuck with 3 grams in a small section. If you’ve never used lead tape to change the weight/properties of your paddle, spend a couple bucks on some lead tape, rather than switching paddles. You’ll find lead tape can improve the power, increase sweet spot size, increase twist weight, and otherwise alter the characteristics of your paddle in a positive way (resets/dinks/etc).

Used it for weight on my pickleball paddle

Take your time putting it in place. 1 layer didn’t make much difference, so tomorrow I’ll give it a try with two. There is no top coating, so you will want to cover it with some kind of tape, I used electrical tape. Should the tape get scuffed it will be easy to replace or if you want to add more weight it comes off easily. Try to eye ball one edge and stck it to the lead first. Then run your nail along the edge of the tape and seal it down. That will leave a long side where you can easily trim off the extra with a utility knife.

Added this lead tape to my new Franklin C45 paddle and it increased the sweet spot greatly. It immediately helped my blocking with harder hits and allowed me to control and redirect with ease.
