It works
I've only used it for an electronic dog collar remote. It does the job fine. The adhesive is really strong and holds well, although I always use the remote tether just in case. This is nice because it lets me clip the remote so it isn't hanging on my neck or swinging around. I thought I would have an issue because the remote is slightly curved but the pad curved just enough. The strap slots did break off, but I expected that as the remote isn't wide enough to support them and wearing it hunting and having it in the vehicle they eventually just fatigue and break off. No functionality lost as I wasn't using the strap for it anyway.
