Nice training-quality airsoft replica
Very nice training replica. Shoots well out of box. Had to touch up the hop-up a notch or two to smooth out airsoft BB flight. Super easy to do with included tool.Blowback works very well. Well built. Very nice tolerances. Solid workmanship. Save for the orange nubby, looks and feels like the real steel version.Very happy with my purchase. :)

PTP with tactical rail feature which doesn't work
PTP stands for "Professional Training Pistol." It does feel real but I've had a lot of problems with the rail for the "Tactical" version. In short I don't know what specs they actually used for their claimed "Mil-Spec-1913" (i.e. Pictanny) rail but it doesn't seem to fit any accessories that I have which were meant for the pictanny rails. I specifically bought a Protec 190 for this bb gun but when I tried to get it on there was no way to fit it. I tried grease, cooling the frame to shrink the metal, taking off the slide in case it got in the way, and just plain old trying to force it on (just left me with some scrapped paint). The light fits fine on my other picatanny rails on another gun (all 3 rails) but the accessories I had for my other guns did not fit the KWA PTP M9. The only thing that would fit is an iron front sight but that's only be it clamps on, and even so the clamp is slanted on the PTP M9 as opposed to my other gun (which is fits perfectly flushed to the rail). Maybe if you want plastic mounts (my accessories are aluminum or metal alloy) they might fit because plastic will bend but don't count on it being a perfect fit. I contacted customer service and as opposed to just forwarding the email to a technical support analyst I was told to post on the forum. The response I got from the forum was that I need to file down my accessory. I posted a response saying that it fit's fine on all other Picatanny rails and asked them what the issues was (apparently their version of "life long technical support" is to have you post on their forum and wait for a response which I got, but just one, no more help after my 2nd post). Now if this was just a normal feature I could live with it but generally you pay from $10-$20 more for the "Tactical" version which is just for the rail. Why did I pay $15 more to get something that I need to file down my accessories to use? When was the last time you had to file down a USB connector because companies made them differently, the entire point of a universal specification system like the picatanny rails is that all other picatanny accessories are compatible and will fit. So I kept asking about this in a forum and they told me that there are issues with the dependability of my light, well I'm not asking them about the dependability I'm asking why won't it fit. Eventually they just stopped responding. I wouldn't recommend getting this if you plan on putting anything on the rails because from my experience it won't and I don't think there's anything "Professional" about a company that can't stand behind it's product.

wow
this was my first airsoft sidearm and its definitely 5 star to me. having nothing to compare it to (other then the real steel m9) this thing is solid. weight, feel and look are simply beautiful. nice matte finish, slide feels and sound awesome. the mag is a bit tight, nothing bad just don't expect it to just fall out upon engaging the release button.fit nice in the Blackhawk m9 dropleg. if your a m9 fan its a good choice.field stripping is sometime a b@#$# at first bc of spring tension, but just shows how strong the materials kwa put into their guns. I also own a kwa sr7 , you wont be disappointed in kwa.

Nice gun, bad springs
Gun is nice, shoots well and the design is spot on to the real thing. The only complaint so far is after shooting 500 .25g bb's through it, the trigger spring broke. I would recommend this gun however I would also recommend you keep a trigger spring or 2 on hand. They can be purchased through the KWA website.

Amazing!
Excellent buy! Of course, KWA makes the best quality and top of the line products; this one being a good example. There are plenty of videos on this gun so you will probably have no problem choosing this gun to buy.Looks and feels JUST like a real M9 Beretta and functions like a lubed up machine (in which it really is!)If you are thinking of getting one, don't hesitate. This is worth your money.

Disappointing
I received this as a Christmas gift last year. By the time April rolled around, the metal pieces made to hold the slide on had all broken. The plates at the bottom of the magazines had fallen off and the bars to hold those on had broken. Each fill of gas would only power about half of a full magazine of bb's. For a $150 pistol, I had expected much more than what I got. I have a spring pistol from 2007 that still works perfectly, and it cost a fifth of what this did.
