Little Giant Ladder Systems Flip-N-Lite 15272 Aluminium Ladder (Silver)

I am an older, heavier woman who does not like to go up on ladders, but I love this Flip 'N Light. I bought the two-step (4-ft) to replace a normal step stool. It is bigger physically than normal step stools, but folds up to about the same width. The benefit is when you climb on it. It is sturdy and gives you that extra high top to hold onto and a dish at the top to put what you need in. It folds up and down very easily with the handle. And it is light and easy to carry (just as easy as the normal step stool). I liked the 4-ft so much, I bought the 5-ft and 6-ft one for when I needed more height. My husband is a handyman and he has appropriated the 5-ft for himself. He likes the fact that it is sturdy and light. Great ladder from someone who does not ever get excited about ladders!!

Needed a versatile ladder for a 9 ft ceiling older ranch house that I could use to reach fixtures, for washing walls & occasionally wash windows outside. It’s light weight, easy to open, has broad enough steps & the bigger step near the top to set things if you’re not stepping on it & a paper towel roll easily sets on the very top.My spouse & I checked several similar ladders at Home Depot & Lowes. They were too short, an over grown step ladder or too heavy & no wide platform step. We were trying to find a duplicate of a Gorilla brand ladder I gotten 5 yrs ago but couldn’t find that style. We even bough a ladder at Lowes but I found this similarly priced ladder on Amazon as we drove home. Back went the Lowes & in two days we had the Lil Giant version. We’d gotten one of the heavier ladders at Lowes that’s a straight up variety for the stability. So glad we returned it for this one. It easily is a stable, can hold my son-in-law & then some (wanted a ladder that held 300 lbs), an easy fold (has a guide rung to fold), light weight for me (have a permanently bum ankle which is worse under weight), and that was tall enough for the high windows outside & helps with holding cleaning (or painting) supplies.Recommend as a versatile (womens/mens) clean or paint for 8-9’ ceilings and when nec can take you to 10’ (I’m 5’7”) which holds avg man or woman, takes up little storage space, and feels secure, no spotting nec unless maybe you’re older like me with one bad foot & on top rung. Any rung below the top rung you can balance against the ladder for your stretch. Have yet to attempt or need to stand on the very top. Not likely I would try that. Pleased with decision.

My gf wanted me to replace all 60 pot lights in my new house with better bulbs. We have 9 foot ceilings and I'm afraid of heights so I needed a tall and sturdy home ladder. Nailed it on the first purchase. This ladder is awesome. It weighs next to nothing, folds up easy, and is extremely well spaced and sturdy when deployed. You can grip the top railing when standing on it and the steps are wide and easy to stand on. It weights next to nothing. There's also a groove on the top railing where you rest tools etc. A fantastic ladder to have around the house and tall enough to comfortably reach 9' ceilings and more.

La escalera llegó temprano, gracias a Dios! Porque estar esperando el paquete hasta las 8 de la noche no es agradable. Se abre con mucha suavidad, no pellizca la palma de la mano como la otra escalera de otra marca que tenemos. Se siente muy segura por los antiderrapantes de las patas y soporta más de 110 kilos sin problema, tal vez sean 115, no sé. Pararse en el segundo escalón que es más bien una pequeña plataforma es muy cómodo. Es muy ligera y las partes de plástico parecen ser resistentes.

How often does anyone find the right ladder, or any product, that is everything the manufacturer claims it is as well as everything you want it to be? In my experience, hardly ever. Well, stop the press, call off the dogs, and prepare to be pleasantly surprised. IMHO the Flip-N-Lite 5-foot ladder from Little Giant is the exception to all those other products that may come close, but never quite measure up to the manufacturers' hype or the customers' expectations.When the Flip-N-Lite ladder arrived, my wife lost track of how many times she heard me use the word, WOW! This is the ladder I have been hoping to find for a long time. However, it was only a month earlier when I purchased the  Polder Ultra light Aluminum 3-Step Ladder  thinking it was the ladder that would best meet my needs. I had been looking for a light weight, easy to use & store ladder for use mainly inside the house for all those times when there is a need to reach an upper closet/cabinet shelf or reset a clock high on the wall or do a little wall/ceiling painting. The Polder Ultra light ladder seemed to fit my needs. While it is a very nice ladder that I intend to keep, I began to wish it could do more, such as get me a little higher up and offer a slightly more secure feeling when there. After doing more research on Amazon & other sites, it began looking like maybe the 5-Foot Flip-N-Lite from Little Giant would give me what I was looking for, and boy did it ever!Here is what I like about it. (1) The aluminum frame is smooth and well finished. There is NOT a rough edge or jagged part on this ladder that could catch your hand or inflict an injury, making it a pleasure to handle. (2) The ladder is rock-solid secure, boasting a Type IA, 300 lbs. load limit. When you are on the top step (a textured platform measuring approximately 12" deep x 13" wide) you are 2'-9" above the floor, and you feel very safe. Adding to your sense of security is the fact that the sides of this ladder extend another 25" above the top step. This allows you to "lean in" against the top bar, thus giving you great stability while freeing up both hands for the job. (3) The orange colored top bar of the ladder also happens to be a convenient 3" W x 12" L x 1" D tray for holding small tools, brushes, or rags. (4) When opening the ladder the top step latches onto a bar across the back of the ladder with a loud CLICK that lets you know the ladder is fully & securely opened & locked. Pull the orange handle to release the step when ready to close the ladder. (5) At just 10.5 lbs. the ladder is easy to carry around with one hand. (6) At its folded height of 63" it easily fits into the back of my Toyota RAV4 when the passenger seat is collapsed or easily stores away under a bed frame or in a clothes closet.In summary, this ladder is well designed & well made. Its size, weight, durability, and handling features make it just the right ladder for all kinds of chores both inside and outside the house. Yes it is made in China, but is "designed and engineered in the USA," says Little Giant. Yes I would recommend it. Yes I would buy another if anything happens to mine. Yes this is a great product at an affordable price. The only thing left to say is, WOW! Polder Ultra light Aluminum 3-Step Ladder
