My 89 yr old mother with dementia enjoyed holding & turning these 3 rain sticks. They entertained her when sitting in her wheelchair between other activities. The tubes do not look too childish, and the sounds are not irritating - when the beads cascade or swirl down. They are a nice size for an adult to hold in their hands.

I love these for my classroom. I have these as a calming tool in a calm down corner for my special education classroom (behavior specific). Keep in mind, these do make noise so they are not a silent calming tool and I would not recommend using as a fidget during institutional times of the day. My students like the sound, the visual design on the inside, and they have held up well for 6 months.

Excellent for my three year-old grandson on the autism spectrum. Loved them right out of the package. Would be nice to have each TUBE END labeled with imprinted text: (Shower, Drizzle, Storm).Only issue: first drop onto hardwood floor, the end of the "shower" tube came off, scattering beads. Grandma quickly collected them -- and was keenly watched as I tried to determine if this was semi-planned (end twisted off, perhaps) or a break in need of more permanent repair. ~~ Ultimately needed to put is aside for super-glue repair. (Disappointed child!) Then he tried to "open" the ends of the other tubes. Thankfully they stayed whole. ~~ Heard he took them to bed with him that night. Very soothing for him!!

Perfect for babies and kids. My daughter loves these and so do us parents. Very calming.

Product stated for three year olds and up. However, fell apart and beads went everywhere. Considering ideal customer base, not a reliable and safe toy. Beautiful concept with very sad and disturbing "results". Don't take the risk. ZERO STARS (I had to give at least one for requirement)
