ESP Testing Cards by Vernet Magic

This is a good deck of cards to use for experiments in psychic abilities.

The cards were as described and in good shape. They will be used for a party game.

I use these cards for my Psychology of Scientific Thinking class. It's perfect for both testing "ESP" on naive individuals, but also can be used to fool them into thinking I am psychic. The pattern of each card is indicated in a subtle way on the back of the card, so if you know what to look for it's pretty easy to figure out. However, when I gave them the cards and had them search for the tells, one of them did notice the differences after about 5 minutes of looking at a few. These are card-stock quality with a nice veneer on them like normal cards. They are bigger than a normal deck of cards in dimensions.

These cards provide a great deal of fun and extra special perceptions in there use. They are a creative alternitive towards providing special tricks as well as genuinely sharping one's intuitive perception. Give it a try..

The cards are well made and appear sturdy. They are also attractive and are easy to handle. My only gripe with these is that they include no instructions as to how to 'read' them, and the link to effects for them did not work. I was taken to a website, but nowhere on the site did I see any link to the effects. I even emailed the company and informed them of the issue, and never heard back from them. I will still use them in performance, however, it would be nice if the company would respond and provide updated links.Five stars for the cards themselves, two stars for the company and customer service.

After closer inspection I have edited my original review. The cards are printed on quality card stock but the markings used in the "cleverly marked deck" are very subtle and nearly unreadable at and distance beyond arms length. The "full instructions" and "stunning effects" that "comes with" the deck must be downloaded, there was no book included. I will keep them but I’m not pleased with the product. Only 4 stars because the product does not live up to the description. I have used many Vernet props over the years and I have never been disappointed with the quality of the product. In terms of quality this one is no different. If you're looking for a deck of quality Zener style ESP cards then this deck would be a good choice.

I predict, you'll love it, LOL. Seriously, these cards are both color and shape varied, and they are well made and sturdy. There are plenty as far as content too. And they can be pulled out anywhere for use easily, or used in privacy. I'm enjoying them.
