Will it hold up to 470 pounds?

Not sure what the weight rating is but think that would be too much. There may not be enough space between the arms for that large a person

It’s very easy and tools are included.

Size of cushion and what is it made of?

The cushion is about 2*2 ft surface area and 4 in thick with a wood frame and foam top.

Is the shopping box very large. I live alone and may need help getting it into my home.

The shipping box is quite large and heavy. Our Fedex delivery person was nice enough to bring the box in through the front door. We unpacked the box there and only assembled the chair in the room where it was going. Note: The seat cushion is firmer than expected.
