Superb lights and fabulous customer service.
The downlights and bulbs are of excellent quality and good value. I changed the single light fitment in a room for downlights and they look excellent. They were straightforward to fit and wire. They dim perfectly. The customer service also proved to be excellent. I had an issue with one down light when I broke the spring, however, I got in touch with Customer Service and they replaced the entire fitting by return without question. I will be fitting further down lights in the future and I will certainly be looking no further than Sanlux. I’m delighted with the product and service. 😊

Brilliant product easy installation and looks great
I was able to install them myself as manual was so easy to follow and they looked great once installed. Used white light led to go with them and it has been months now after installation. Really pleased with quality and the looks worth the money invested (which was also nominal compared with others).

Excellent looking excellent value
Despite the picture, please read on, because I highly recommend these. I have the Satin Nickel finish and they look so good in two bedrooms in the house. I really love the way they look.To save doing too much work, I was looking for lamps that required a 75 mm diameter opening. Obviously if you don't have the holes or they're not the right size, you have a bit more work to do, including reinforcing the hole as springs on these type of fittings can damage plasterboard ceilings. Just note you may just about get away with a 76mm opening, but much more and the fitting is likely to pull into the hole as the bezel needs to be detached before fitting. One of mine was slightly large and I had to do a bit of work to fill the edges and put reinforcing. The bezel is a few millimetres wider, so if the hole is not perfect, this will hide some imperfections. These were purchased to replace low voltage lighting with transformers which were failing. Wiring these in was relatively easy as the connections are push fit rather than having to use a screwdriver, which for a few years has been my preferred way of making electrical connections.Once the main fitting is in place, you slot a lamp into the bezel. A metal clip holds the lamp in place. I used Philips LED GU10 Light Bulbs,3.8 W (50W) - WarmGlow Dimmable, Pack of 6 in one room and the non-dimmable in the other room. The Philips bulbs in themselves provide brilliant light at very low energy consumption, but as I believe these bulbs are more compact than many low energy light bulbs, the clip on the bezel did not hold down the bulbs as firmly. When I fitted the bezel, which requires a quarter of a turn, the bulbs would sometimes ride up on one edge. This meant fiddling around until they lay flat. As is say you can get bulbs that are not as compact, but do pay attention to the spec of these fittings because some bulbs could be too long in length. It the whole was slightly too big the main fitting could go into the hole a bit too much making the fitting of the bezel difficult. However, this is easily resolved by pulling the fitting just a little out of the ceiling, fitting the bezel and letting the fitting spring back into the ceiling.I did have one big problem with one of the fittings. As another reviewer mentioned the metal the spring is made of is quite weak. One snapped as shown in the picture and the metal went through my finger. I contacted the seller and a replacement was sent fairly quickly after they finally understood what I was asking 5 emails later. So, overall, despite the issues with the spring on the one fitting, I will buy these again for the landing. They look very, very good and compared with many downlights, easy to fit. They are also very good value for the money.

Easy to install and great value for money
I bought these for the living room of my flat. Although the instructions recommend a 75mm holesaw the body of the light is just over 65mm so I decided to use a 70mm hole saw instead. I'm glad I did as i think it's given a tighter, better fit in the hole. My ceiling has a rippled finish but the lights still sit flush with no scraping required. The connection block is a bit fiddly and the cable grips are very tight, even for 1.5 twin and earth. Having said that all lights were connected successfully first time. The description doesn't make mention whether they are IC (insulation contact) rated but the part number is FR20-IC which would suggest they are. If you are using 4-5W LEDs then they will barely even get warm so there should be no issue laying insulation over the top.If you are replacing standard pedant lights with these you will need to fit a separate junction box as there is not enough ways to run a switched live.I was undecided whether I would need 9 or 12 for my room which is 5x5M. I settled on 9 lights with an extra 1 above the entrance door. With 4W bulbs it's way more than enough light on full brightness. All in all a very good cost effective upgrade to my front room.Pair with some WiFi smart bulbs for the ultimate stylish lighting.

Great product and fast delivery
They came boxed nicely and not bent or damaged in box. These look great and really transformed the space. Installation wasn’t difficult. Nice to have good products with reasonable pricing and fast delivery. They are well attached to the ceiling with no wobble. I am getting ready to buy another box to do a couple more rooms in my house I would have no problem recommending these to family and friends.

It was so easy to install with push in wires
These light cans are solid and looks very high-end. It was so easy to install with push in wires, and we basically cut holes in the ceiling and shove them in . These lights have three positions for springs, we had tried and found the middle position provided just right tightness to hold lights in position. They were great price and we're happy with them. I will buy more if we need and highly recommend.

Nice product, easy to fit. 1 out 10 GU10 connection was broken
These work perfectly, very easy to install. They are the same as the Screwfix LAP but different name and cheaper. The only downfall Iv had well gotten is that iv finished fitting them apart from 1 as the GU10 connection is cracked/broken. Other than that it's all good. I'll see if I can get in touch with Amazon or the supplier to get a replacement sent out.

Easy to wire and springs
After a long time searching for down lights and I am so glad I decided on these. They arrived quickly and well package and have much better construction than my old ones. They are super easy to wire and springs are strong enough to hold the lights in position. I am extremely pleased with the final appearance. Would recommend definitely.
