I ordered two sizes of this cord, .5 and .8, and am so glad I did. I use the smaller size with most beads. The .8 needs to be used with larger hole-sized beads. Both knot very nicely.

This cord is lovely to work with. It knots securely and doesn't feel sticky. Colors are beautiful, too.

Colores muy lindos

This is super thick, heavy duty waxed thread. It's thicker than I was expecting (I usually don't check the mm of my thread), but it works well for my purposes. I've used it in leather crafting and book binding, and it works well for both. It's a tiny bit thick for book binding, but it creates a bold effect and still works fine.I like the variety of colors. I do think some of them are a bit different/more muted in person, but overall, they still look good. The needle variety is also pretty good, and I like that they come with a needle threader. It was a little hard to get the thread through some of the needle heads even with that due to how thick it is.The only thing I didn't love is this thread is really stiff. I'm used to threads that will eventually relax a bit with either time or by manually working them, but these stay stiff and standing straight. That's maybe what other people want, but it's not ideal for me or my uses, so I took a star off for that.

The media could not be loaded. I've tried many waxed threads over the years on my bookbinding journey. This thread is perfect. The size of the thread works great, the amount of wax gives you great slip without being too sticky. I was impressed that I could work with extra long lengths and the thread did not tangle or knot up on itself. The colors are nice, a tad muted compared to the photos but still pretty. This thread is a great choice for bookbinding projects.
