Extra long and durable surge protector!
My husband stated a new job as a machinist and works in a building with no AC and needed a power strip that was long enough to stretch through his work building. This worked perfect and is great that it comes in several colors as his job makes everything super dirty. Sleek design and great price for a surge protector!

Update: I've had this for about 2 years now. Still like new. I forget how long the power cord was, since I usually keep it under one of my Vinyl racks, the extra length is nice. If I needed another outlet/power strip, I wouldn't hesitate to get a second one. I still use a couple Tripp Lite units, Furman PL-8C & custom Toggles in my studio rack but this GE is as good as basic power strip gets. I've plugged my workstation laptop, an RME Babyface (audio interface) & my MPC a few times when I needed to work in another room. I thought about using one of my Isobars but this worked great as usual. 2 years since my original review and still zero issues. It stays doing what it was designed to.Original Review:Some of the reviews for this don't make sense. This works as well as any power strip I've ever used. Plug in what you need, be sensible about it & keep it movin' The construction is plastic but it's a sturdy piece. A single toggle switch turns the powet on/off & the swivel jacks are useful also. This does what it says & functions properly.I've had it for about a month. Perfect no complaints. Will update is anything changes.

Works fine, but a little fussy
Works well, surge protector, but the plug in faces are very temperamental. Outlets are a little close together, so some appliances and product chant be next to each other.

Safety and security with switch off and on.
I like this Outlet because there’s a switch bottom you can put it off and on as desired, it safe with multiple outlets and the price is reasonable. Shopping @ Amazon is a guaranteed shopping experience. Communication is their main concern with the customers.
