A lot of storage in a small space
When I purchased this island, I was looking for three very specific things. First, I wanted it to be more on the narrow side. My kitchen isn't really large enough for an island, but it's too large to not have something. This fits perfectly. The 2nd thing I was looking for was functionality. There isn't anywhere great to store my pots and pans except the lazy Susan, which - no thanks! The inside of the island is spacious enough to hold all of my pots and pans with no issue. The 3rd thing I was looking for was, stylistically, no hideous wheels or castors on the bottom. I absolutely love the functionality and beauty of the bottom. It can still move around with ease if needed, but looks like it sits flush on the ground.I am shocked at how much this holds. I still haven't been able to find a use for the cupboard or the open shelves and I have had this for months. One thing I do wish is that the countertop had more color options, but this is a good substitute for the awful gray wood everywhere. The countertop itself is tough. My family has definitely put a beating on it already with hot plates and utensils. I was terrified of it getting damaged, but it is resilient and definitely scratch resistant.Onto the nitty gritty, the assembly. It weighs a ton! It takes forever! But the overall product is worth it. The instructions were clear and all parts were there. This is definitely an all day project though, don't be like me and start at 10pm. Give yourself plenty of space and time.My only negative is that the back is pretty ugly. If you have a large kitchen and expect the back to be pretty visible, this may not be for you. But, if it's going against a wall, which it absolutely can, or in a smaller kitchen, I highly recommend it.

A beautiful addition to my kitchen!
I LOVE this kitchen island! It has a lot of parts and takes a while to assemble. However, it’s worth it! It is the perfect size for my midsize kitchen and looks great! The height is perfect and does more than I need it to! It looks and feels like it is a nice quality addition to the kitchen!

Nice little island for the price, I do recommend.
Follow instructions, have the right tools, and this will be easy. I was able to put this together solo in little over 3.5 hours. Took it slow and read the instructions carefully, step by step. Instructions are well written and easy to follow. Everything is numbered as well as pictured clearly in the instruction booklet. Was well packed, there wasn't even a slight blemish of the island, even with outer box damage when it arrived. If you are using a drill, set the torque low so there isn't any stripping. I was a little disappointed that the top of the island was particle board, but the price was in my range, and I can work with it. It is a beautiful addition to my kitchen, and adds tons of storage. I can actually clear off some of my limited counter space and hide it away in this little island. The wheels on the bottom make it so easy to move out of the way if needed. I like being able to move it over to clean under, so nice. The work top is quite low. Not the same height as standard countertops, so be aware of that. Overall, for the price, I am pleased. It looks great, and serves me well.

Horrible to build, Good quality for price, no brakes
Just purchased and built. So far impressed with the sturdiness and the amount of storage for the price. Two cons: the wheels DO NOT have brakes. Concerned about how I’ll keep this from moving when my kiddo starts walking. This was TERRIBLE to build. Took about 7 hours and the doors require two people. Sent it to a few people on task rabbit to build and was quoted $300-500 😂

I get a lot of compliments on it.
its sturdy, holds a lot, I like the style. I hope that it survives my move. I get a lot of compliments on it. But I’m gonna be honest with you. I never wanna have to assemble something like this again. It took a very long time.

3.5/4 stars :)
3.5/4 stars.Tons of storage which is great. Quality could be better, but my previous island weighed about 200 lbs and was a $800-900 island. So I’m comparing the quality to that. (This island lacked in storage. Which is why I sold it and purchased this one) Can’t complain for $170. But still wish the top was a bit better quality as it was a little chipped when I pulled it out of the box. I’m afraid of what wear and tear will be on this (if it comes to it I can make a new top out of hard wood ) were some flaws when I pulled it out of the box. Some pieces were bent/cracked. But thankfully it was in places that aren’t seen. I like that this one doesn’t have the drop tops for a bar. I hate those! Looks cheapI am sad this is press board. I’m worried about how long it will hold up. Especially since there’s more storage so I’ll be opening/closing doors. Pulling things out and putting back inOverall I’d say yes if you’re thinking about it and liking it more than others get it. I personally would not pay more than $140/150 for this (even though I paid 170 lol) Doors also don’t line up which is driving me nuts! Couldn’t fix it

Very nice solid island
Very sharp island, exactly as pictured. Fairly extensive to put together, but very clear concise and easy directions.
