I only bought these because of the great reviews and I actually bought a total of 6. I am on the board here at our county fair in Payson, Arizona. So, we are 5k up in elevation, fair grounds are flat and we are surrounded by mountains. Everyone else said don't buy them that we will use our phones...I said they were crazy; I hate using phones and this would be my donation to our fair and so..we used them. THEY WORKED AMAZINGLY! Sound was crystal clear, everyone important had one...and there was no interference, screeching etc. It rained all Friday night and the sound was still good in the storm. I was a dumb butt and forgot to put the ear pieces in or the clip on for everyone...I just carried mine and it was fine...so I can't comment on how the ear piece works. Some of the guys put theirs in their shirt pocket...Not going to lie, I was worried about the others dropping them and losing them (which I am sure they did) but I came home with all 6 and they are all in working condition. Just make sure everyone knows how to use them...it's a good thing our president is pretty because she somehow turned to a different channel and was getting mad that no one would answer her. It was pretty funny! I like the light attached. I had to show someone how to turn that off...so even though you might be an expert...everyone else isn't, so make sure you train them how to work them. My kids are happy that I didn't leave them at the fair grounds or give them to someone to use; they walk around our rural neighborhood with them and I can check on them at the neighbors houses. The husband just used them for hunting and said they worked fine. So...I hope this review helps you :)

Got these babies for the whole family. We live out in the middle of nowhere on a 40 acre farm. Sometimes it is nice to be able to talk to each other when the cell phones have no reception. This kit came with 3 walkies, 3 lithium batteries, 3 headphone earbuds, 3 belt clips and antennas as well as 3 chargers. Everything you need for a complete setup. They are very well constructed and very durable. yet they are small enough to carry around and not notice them. I am not really sure how long they take to charge up completely as i just plugged them in and left them overnight. I am not too sure what the listed distance is on these (they always list them as if you live in a desert with no obstructions, but they the pretty much cover our entire farm with hills and trees in the way. I really haven't tried to get beyond the perimeter of our property but I am very happy with the soound quality and the distance. i would recommend these to anyone who needs a way to communicate when a cell phone is not always an option.

After only a month, one of them is not working. The person can hear other people but she can't be heard speaking. Am awaiting return to give full review.

Picked these up for the kids and they love them. I tested the range by going down the street 1/4 mile and didn't have any issues with communications. You need to spend a little time getting familiar with the controls because the set I received didn't have instructions on what the buttons and knobs were for. But it's not difficult to figure out. No issues so far!

Bought this item not really knowing much about it other than going by review scores and worked out well. Took these on a camping trip (no cell service) and came in so handy. Another family took other walkies and these outperformed those by far. We were in a large cam site and these went about 1.5 miles with heavy tree obstruction. After 1.5 miles then they gave out but we were very impressed they went that far. I will definitely be adding more walkies to my collection.Battery lasted a whole day with moderate to heavy use.I did have trouble getting these to wrok with other walkies of a different brand, but I dont know what the trouble was either ours or theirs.Pros:Good range for priceSturdy, well madeBattery life was goodCons:I wish it had a scan feature but it's no big deal to us.I wish there was a better way to charge these other than wall outlet as it was not convenient while camping or driving

Awful! Don't buy! The price is great, but you get what you pay for :(Cheap plastic that broke after a day of use, had to screw belt clips on by hand, chargers had shorts in the wires and the list goes on! Terrible product! Stay far away!

I have 1 receiver that is already not working after a few months. We are getting the message to change the battery. Well when we put it in the charger it shows green as fully charged. We had this with the last set we bought as well, so I would not buy these again.

We bought these for our 3 kids aged 10 and 12, for fun. It's a Christmas gift so they haven't had the chance to use them but my husband and I have tried them and like them.They came with many extras like clip, ear piece, etc. Which I think the kids are going to love. I have not tried the charge them yet... they are currently wrapped up. Should I have any issues I will update my review.So far customer service has been great so I feel confident that if I have any issues they will be fixed appropriately.We have already recommended these to friends and family.
