Against this unique and creative background, the universal appeal of eight nursery rhymes is added. Children will be mesmerised as the Teletubbies imitate, perform, dance and sing to rhymes including "Humpty Dumpty", "Hey Diddle Diddle", "Pat-A-Cake" and "Twinkle Twinkle". Great care is taken not to frighten little ones. Modern adapted versions of stories ("The Gingerbread Man") and rhymes ("Jack and Jill") omit y words or actions and the spider in "Little Miss Muffet" is fluffy, bright pink and smiling. King Pleasure and the Biscuit Boys feature in two of the three video clips, singing cool jazzed up versions of "The Grand Old Duke of York" and "Hickory Dickory Dock" to an enthusiastic young crowd. It is not difficult to see why pre-schoolers in over 20 countries have found a place in their hearts for this inimitable foursome.
