Transform your playtime! 🚀
The Transformers Studio Series Leader Class Age of Extinction Optimus Prime is an 8.5-inch action figure that transforms between robot and Western Star 4900EX truck mode in 44 steps. It features articulated limbs for dynamic posing, movie-inspired details, and comes with accessories like a sword and shield, making it a perfect collectible for fans aged 8 and up.

Long overdue justice for AOE Prime
Scales great with the other studio series, articulates exceptionally, the sword is a two-piece along with a special “sword wrist” where you can move the wrist down to replicate the movie posters where he’s holding it straight forward, and it has a great vehicle mode that somehow replicates that dark magic the movie transformations did. The only downsides to me is the lack of paint and lack of the gun accessories, but with those he would just be the best studio series optimus instead of only being a near perfect studio series optimus.

very good for what it is
shipping was extremely quick which is a huge upside, the figure itself is awesome, when it first came out of the package a lot of things were loose & not tabbing correctly but after playing around with it for some time it became extremely solid and fun!the backpack can be removed so it has a cleaner appearance too! the paint isn’t to bad and doesn’t bother me as much as i thought it would8.5/10

A transforming knight optimus that isn't mid. It's Infact great!
Finally, the optimus we all deserve!Unlike the original voyager aoe/tlk optimus, and the ko versions found here and on Ali, this actually feels fantastic. The old mold is decent, but the increased Articulation and screen accuracy on this mold is something to behold. I absolutely recommend this official ss piece, for a retail knight optimus prime that DOES transform, you cannot go wrong.

Monty python and the age of extinction
This figure, first and foremost, is a little expensive for its general quality. However, when it comes to optimus primes on the market, he is not the worst choice at all. He’s not quite as big as I was expecting, but his mold is possibly the most detailed of any transformer I own. His plastic is tough (besides the backpack/front of the truck, you’ll be fine as long as you don’t go driving him violently into walls), and even the tiny details have a lot of strength. Of my Optimus Prime figures, I have the Siege voyager class, the Cyberverse deluxe class, and the studio series revenge of the fallen voyager class figures along with this one, and compared to those, this one has a huge advantage over them in articulation, detail, and screen-accuracy. His biggest problem is that his vehicle form is incredibly difficult to convert, and while the truck does look pretty good, it is lacking in frame strength, wheel usability, and if you drive it on carpet it is certain to get stuck.

My name is Optimus Prime
Figure looks great and came in well packaged. He definitely looks good with his other variants.

Initial review
Definitely worth buying. Love the accessories, and I love how dense he feels as a figure. He could’ve been slightly taller but that’s about it: To collectors, his backpack CAN come off which is a huge plus. Overall I recommend this figure to any collector. He does not come with a swappable head.

One of the best releases of the year
The unpainted grey might be an issue for some, but the details are immaculate, the paintjob is outstanding where it's done, the robot mode looks gorgeous, the transformation is surprising in a lot of ways, fun, and leads to one of the best executed altmodes Optimus had had in years
