Works great does it's job

As a mom, these are convenient to throw in the car, backpack or diaper bag and forget about until needed. The battery has lasted well and I’ve had no issues with reading the screen. Accurate reads, very satisfied customer. As someone who hasn’t always had the best experience with temporal thermometers, sometimes the basics are all we need!

I don't think anyone gets a $5 thermometer expecting a million bells and whistles. We're all trying to scrape by in a horrible economy and I can't risk showing up to work sick. This thermometer does what I got it to do: it reads my temperature, and probably will for a couple of years before I have to spend another five bucks.

I bought several for my first aid kit in my rental properties. I also kept some for our home. They take a tad longer than most, but are just as accurate and does the job. For the price the patient can wait 15 more seconds! I would buy more.

This thermometer states it has a 'tone signal' indicating peak temperature, but mine does not work. It also states it has a 'special tone' for a fever over 100 degrees. Since I did not have a 'fever' I could not test that, but I would assume that since it did not work for a normal temp reading, it would not work for a high temp.No free returns, so I'll trash it...not worth the money to replace it. Don't waste your money!

My thermometer after the beep about the end of the measurement continues to slowly gain temperature.I asked this question on the product page but the manufacturer did not answer it. Instead, he suggested that I Fill out some form, but he did not give any link to this form. Apparently this is a factory defect.
