A Great Scale Modeling Book
David Parker's massive 2014 book "Super King," documented his three and a half year odyssey to build Trumpeter's epic 1/16 scale King Tiger, directly inspired this title (Parker, a founding editor of AFV Modeler magazine and his publication covered his build in several installments). The author of "Jagdtiger," is Sam Dwyer who clearly makes no bones about the influence of Mr. Parker's masterful book as a primary influence in building Trumpeter's 1/16 scale Jagdtiger. Whereas Mr. Parker would spend three and a half years crafting his King Tiger, Mr. Dwyer spent a comparatively brief seven months building this monster. Not that he didn't approach the project with skill and craftsmanship. He clearly did. Considering the wealth of work and careful attention to detail, Mr. Dwyer's efforts, like his predecessor, yielded considerable rewards. Though not even half as long as "Super King,", "Jagdtiger," is thoroughly documented and still covers its subject quite comprehensively and should please most Tiger modelers. The only criticism I can make is that the book doesn't have any decent exterior shots of a Jagdtiger. There are plenty of interior shots of the few extant Jagdtigers still around, but why Mr. Dwyer didn't include any exterior shots of one past or present (he also could have had plenty of outside pics of the one currently in possession of the Bovington Tank Museum), I don't really understand. That said, this is a fine book that should be in the library of any Tiger tank or modelling enthusiast.

If you have this model in 1/16 scale this book it's a must
The book is a great way to use for adding details to your model,it explains visually were to put those details and what to make it also gives you a good reference library but if you are not good at doing scratch building I think that you would be out of luck because most of the things you see on the book is for a advanced modeller so is the model but that said ,if you want to tackle this behemoth of a model and build it out the box. And have a couple of models under your belt you will be ok just remember this is not a race this model is big so you have to take your time in building it .the book will certainly help you a lot but remember this book is not the definitive guide but it's very close so I recommend it to anyone ,use it if you have it. if you have this model enjoy it because it's very good not perfect but really good.

Amazing book full of interior references
I grew up about an hr away from APG, so I used to visit this particular vehicle quite often. I always wondered what the interior looked like! It's so cool to see the inside now 40 yrs later! The book itself is wonderful and one of my favorites alongside David Parker's King Tiger book, SuperKing

Great gift for the man who has it all
I got this for my father who owns a hobby shop himself. The fact he requested it and Amazon had it was amazing and means it was priced lower than what he could get it for
