Happy with my New Hairbrush
I like a brush's bristles to reach my through my hair, to my scalp without having to press hard. It feels firm in my hand. It brushes my fine, long and thick hair very well. Avon use to make a fine hair brush, I have not seen one that compared til now. Harder bristles may not be everyone's brush, but I really do like it. So far I have liked all Paul Michael products I have ventured into.

Fine hair approved!Long, strong bristles detangle w/o *pulling*. PM STILL pioneer.$10?TAKE MY MONEY!
Ladies, millennials, Gen X, & Boomers will tell you Paul Mitchell is one of the original hair care/beauty brands which can in general be relied upon for quality products. I was THRILLED to try this brush on behalf of Paul Mitchell through the Vine program and was NOT disappointed by the quality tools PM is still making (based on my experience of this brush).NOT only is this a nice brush, but for $10?! Yes. Leave it to the pros. Love that this company is making their products affordable.About the brush - it doesn't have soft bristles which is fine - this isn't for your scalp. My hair is extremely long and fine (tangles easily) and it took no time, very little pulling to start at the bottom on my hair and work my way up. The bristles are placed to grab the hair and pull it through without slipping or missing pieces (also, the bristles are long which I believe makes a huge difference) - you wouldn't think it matters, but it really does. Somehow it untangles without ripping hair out.I used this to untangle my hair when it was dry, but also used it to blow dry my wet hair with just as easy use. The brush itself is lightweight so your arm won't get heavy when blowdrying. Because it is vented, the heat blows through and appropriately, evenly dries your hair. Not only does this assist with even, fast drying, but it reduces the exposure time and temperature of your hair saving it damage.Because my hair is fine and straight, this gave me a polished look (straight with just the right amount of volume). I could have easily applied a straightener to it afterwards if I wanted it FLAT and sharp, but I personally love a little bit of volume in exchange for preventing heat damage. For $10, this is a no-brainer!

Does the job
It is vented and Paul Mitchell so I’m satisfied for $9! Bristles seems a little sharp even with my thick hair

Didn't realize how much I'd love it!
Good value for your money! Good quality, easy to use, easy to clean! No tangling. Well made, very durable. Bristles are a bit stiff initially. Makes blow drying quicker and easier!

VERY HARD AND SHARP
I have very thick hair so I generally prefer a firmer brush, but the bristles have no give and are pointy. I don't have a sensitive scalp but I absolutely had to be very careful when brushing with this not to scratch. On the plus side my hair does not get tangled in it when styling. It is heat resistant and pretty light. But since I like to keep things simple, a brush that I can't use on my scalp is not what I need.

Stiff bristles!
I am a huge fan of this brush!! The bristles are stiff and do not bend or break, which makes brushing through this unruly hair so much easier! I like that it is vented so I can use the hairdryer while using this brush to help dry my hair, a bit quicker or style
