🎉 Unleash the fun—don’t let the monkeys tumble!
The Tumblin' Monkeys Game by Mattel is an engaging and easy-to-learn game designed for children aged 5 and up. Players create a web of sticks, place monkey pieces in a tree, and take turns removing sticks based on a die roll, all while trying to keep the monkeys from falling. It's a perfect blend of strategy and fun, making it a great choice for family game nights.

Great game
This game lasts the perfect length of time for little minds. My daughter plays the game two ways, one to see who gets the least monkeys (the way the box says), and one to see who gets the most (typically when she has already got most of them!). The curly tales on the monkeys allow for the monkeys to drop down and catch on other sticks too, which adds a little excitement for her.The set-up is quick and easy, put the base and tree together, slides the sticks through and throw the monkeys in the top!The only thing I would change about this game is the colour of the sticks themselves, to colours with more contrast. Being colour blind and having Orange (the tree), yellow, and green, it does mean I occasionally pull the wrong colour out! Great game though, easy to play once or a few times, and keeps the attention. Better than marbles for young kids, and the catching tails extends the game a little longer than others.

Fun even for adults
I saw this game played on a Run BTS! episode and decided I had to try it. My mom and I played it and had a lot of fun. I then went back and watched BTS play it again and it made a lot more sense why they were having so much fun with it (they of course have a penalty if they lose so that ads to their drama). This is a fun game for all ages and highly recommend buying it for a few laughs. The parts didn't fit together very well, so that is the only negative.

Great Game for a 2-year-old!
It is great! My daughter loves playing with it, and don't mind playing 3 or 4 games before I have had enough. It is almost identical to Kerplunk from the 60s, but with monkeys instead of marbles.GOOD- Monkeys probably hold the interest and appeal for small children more than marbles would with Kerplunk- Cleaver concept - the tube is a palm tree- Variety - the sticks come in 3 colors; the game also comes with a dice with one color on each face; As my daughter gets older, we will incorporate the dice into the game so that it can grow with her and become more challenging. Right now, we play as though getting monkeys is a good thing- Great introduction to games for little ones - teaches the concept of taking turns without the heavy competition. While it is not a "cooperative" game, you can place the focus on excitement when the monkeys fall out--no matter who was pulling the stick.BAD- Design - Wish the base somehow secured/snapped onto the tube/tree trunk. It just sits there, so it is easy to fall or move. Palm fronds have built-in clips to attach to tree trunk, but they don't work well; The two trunk halves don't really have a good mechanism for popping together. Some of the clips slide into their receiving hole well, and some do not.- Storage - Flimsy box. Very flimsy box. And to fit the tree in the box, you have to take the trunk halves apart. They have small clips that I am certain will eventually give way after all of the use connecting and unassembling. Also, you end up with all these little monkeys loose in this huge box. Will have to find a small ziploc to keep them in.

Highly recommend for preschool age
Bought this for my 2 1/2 yr old granddaughter, as I was looking for a game she could play, too. She wants I badly to play her big brother’s games! I didn’t expecther 5 yr old brother to enjoy it too, but he really liked it. Nice that they could play together. It didn’t take them long to learn to put the sticks through the tree! This was a great game!!!

Super cute game that we play as a family (mom
Super cute game that we play as a family (mom, dad, 4 year old, 2 year old). Easy to set up, easy to play, and very similar to the old skool Kerplunk game from back in my day, except without the dangerous marbles :) We play a different version of the game for my little ones. Instead of designating the winner as the player with the least amount of monkeys, we just designate the winner as the player with the most amount of monkeys. Makes the dropping of the monkeys more exciting because the kids hope they will drop down into their respective play slots.

Kids LOVE this game
I am a speech therapist and used this game during my clinical school training in college. Now that I'm a CF, I had to get my own. Kids LOVE this game. Great for kids up to 5th/6th grade. It's all about getting monkeys to fall (even though you don't want them to fall...lol). Great incentive to have kiddos work on articulation or language tasks, then they get to roll the die and pull the stick.
