Best astaxanthin I’ve tried. High potency, easy to swallow. Darkens my tan noticeably and the price is right. I’ll be buying again.

Took 3 of these (36mg) along with a krill oil capsule and got an unexpected effect, 11 hours sleep.Fell asleep at 5 pm. Woke at 9 pm and fell asleep again about 9:30. Woke at 2 am and thought I was up for the day,fell asleep again and woke at 5am. Best sleep I've had in years, has anyone else has this effect?After about three days noticed my eyes were less dry.After about two weeks my skin is better, a spot on my scalp that's been painful for a year has stopped hurting and started healing.Wasn't expecting anything, what a nice surprise!

I read a couple of scientific papers that his supplement helps with melasma. For me it didn't clear it up 100% after 2 months, but it did lighten it to a point where I don't feel like I need to wear a concealer every day. It also prevented new formation of melasma during this summer, where I spent a month in a very sunny environment.I tried a bunch of other methods before: Lasers, chemical peels, staying away from the sun... Some made it worse to be honest.I don't use anything else on my skin just to see if this works. I don't even use sunscreen every day like I used to. I don't sun bathe, but I don't get all worked up if I forget to apply sunscreen and go out for a walk for instance. I will continue to use it and see if the spots continue to lighten up.

Indeed it is easy to swallow the soft gel which is not common for me. I also like that "other ingredients" are simple: gelatin, vegetable glycerin, water, and natural carob nothing else, no food color or smth else.It's a good value for money as well.I was giving this product to my teenaged son who loves sweets and he had very few pimples, for a couple of weeks when we are done with the product he got much more of those red pimples, so going to buy the product again.
