Follow the instructions! You paint 1 side then the other side let dry a bit the. Stick 2 sides together. When they touch it is seriously stuck. There is no repositioning ! I used my heat gun to help mold the sole into place. This can will go a long way! I see lots of uses in DIY and projects.

Worked great fixed 2 pair of shoes. Work boots and high top pair of sneakers. Still have lots left. The only problem was it got thick sitting in can before I opened it up. I read I needed to find the proper thinner. Will try try to use some in this bottle in the future. Overall shoes are like new.

I've been using this contact cement in my leather projects for years. It doesn't come apart with age. It is easy to use and somewhat forgiving until the coated pieces are pressed tightly together.

It's been a while since I've had an occasion to use "contact cement", so while I do live in the communist controlled nanny state of California, I was amazed that this type of adhesive is only allowed in very small quantities, too small a volume to do the job at hand, and at exorbitant prices per fluid ounce, in this location. So, I ordered this stuff shipped to another state in the lower 48, picked it up and finished my project at a decent price and with enough material in one container.And it worked really well, as I remember contact cement working, and none of the neighborhood trees or inhabitants died while I was working.
