Wasn’t sure if this would be compatible with led lights leftover from a previous instal however, this controller box worked perfectly. However I will Say test your led strips before instal because one of the strips did not support all of the colors offered. Great product

Hooked up to my 13v test bench with a power probe. Everything’s works perfect. A lot of people are asking how to fix the brake function lighting a different color. A manufacturer may change the build process with the strips and it may say “R” on the strip but light up Green. Always test your strip first to make sure it coincides with the right color. This remote (in order) (bottom where you can see the metal tabs) is Black, Red, Green, Blue from left to right. TEST YOUR STRIP. You can always cut off the factory installed connector and make your own so that you know you’re connecting the correct lead to the correct led copper contact.
