Q: Could I use this to flavor homemade lip balm?

I use it in my lip scrub. It definitely works.

Q: do these flavors contain sugar? What it the carbohydrate count? suitable for a low-carb diet?

I am on a low carb diet. I was introduced to these flavors in a low carb cookbook. I do not believe they have carbs and you need to use sweetner with them. You can also get a flavor booster that works will with them. The sweetner recommended is EZ Sweetz. I really like this sweetner I have started using it in lieu of other available products. Q: If u are using them to flavor frostings or cakes is it worth it for each bottle being less than a tablespoon in other words would it be enough?

If you put an entire bottle in anything less than probably 2 gallons of frosting it would still probably be slightly too overpowering. If you're flavoring frostings a little goes a LONG way. I would add about 1-2 drops per cup of frosting as a base and add another 1 drop if it's not strong enough. Some flavors are slightly stronger than others, and a drop per cup of frosting still might be too strong. Diluting the flavors in a flavor carrier like propylene glycol or liquid sucralose is the best way to utilize these. They are very, very concentrated.
