Can't wait to get started!
As the new year approaches, I cannot wait to get started with Chelsea's book! As I was reviewing this book, I'm just so excited because every week, there is an assignment for you to focus on. I cannot wait to try new things all because of Chelsea's book!

Fun book
I loved this book. I bought it for myself and my 14-year old. It gave us a great project to do together. We both like to sketch and "Your Year in Art" has given us little goals and ideas of what to sketch.

A book of prompts.
A good book to keep you ‘arting’ all year long. Some of the projects are a half hour, not a week. But still...sometimes that’s all you might need to keep you going.

loved this book
really helpful in getting me out and drawing. Great ideas to get me started on projects. Liked the change of materials, and colors. Can't wait for the next book to come out. Adrienne Walter

Perfect For Anyone Needing A Kickstart to Creativity
The concept behind this book is that you have an artistic prompt every week. The prompts are fun and help get your creative juices flowing! I love to spend time drawing and painting but I always have a hard time trying to figure out what to draw/paint. This book has given me new ideas and new ways to practice that I wouldn't have thought of myself. I also really like that there is a prompt for each week because it has given me an excuse to sit down and get creative every single week. The book is very high quality and is beautiful to look at! There is just enough in the direction in the book to get you going on the right track while still leaving plenty of room for you to use your own style/creativity to bring the prompt to life.

Does not have a spiral binding like advertised in their photo!
Flipping through the Inside of the book, it looks good, but I haven’t had a chance to look at it because I just received it today and the cover is completely different than what’s advertised (there’s no reason not to show the actual cover the book has been printed with, when the book has been released.) Also shows in the photo that it has a spiral binding, but does not, so the book cannot lay flat when opened, like their photo advertises. This is very frustrating when you only show two photos for the book and one isn’t even of the actual book. Also, there is no way to ask a question about the book before buying, like there is on most products sold on amazon, so you can’t even be clear on these things before purchasing it. The book might be great, but right now all these negative things overshadow it.I will update my thoughts on the inside of the book soon.

Love it!
What a great book!I love the drawings, every page is full of colors, drawings, inspirations and I like the fact that the prompts kind of build up on each other and start with basic stuff.I also like that it has one prompt per week so it gives me time to do them at my own pace, I don't rush myself and can explore all week.Really, no regrets at all buying this book.I'm not new to art, I enjoy using this book to keep creating and practicing drawing/painting almost every day without overthinking it.
