The motor was broken up on arriving. Battery is brand new and works because you can manually turn the timer from one second and it will beep. But the motor is unable to turn the dial itself. Pretty disappointing and unfortunate.

The media could not be loaded. This is a very simple timer. Requires 1 AA battery. Just set the timer by turning the center knob and the countdown quietly begins. There is no second hand, no ticking, just minutes that alowly pass. When the timer reaches zero, there is a faint alarm that sounds (similar to what you would hear on a wrist watch). There is a button on top that you push to turn off the alarm. It doesn't get any simpler than this and is nice if you're looking for something that is not noisy.
