Haynes Manual for Yamaha YZ
I always buy a Haynes or Chilton's manual for every vehicle I own. Really glad I did the same for my YZ 125. The manual contains all the necessary specs, appropriate intervals for preventive maintenance, and the accompanying procedural processes to keep your YZ in top performing condition. I highly recommend these manuals for anyone who does their own mechanics. You never know when you will need a torque spec or assistance with a procedural process, which are easily found in a Haynes Manual. It is a lot easier than working without one and using "guesswork based on experience". A must have for any mechanic.

Just what I needed
I received the book in about five days, it was just what I needed to help walk me through the basic maintained I need to do on my bike. The cover was a little banged up but pretty good for the cost. some things are a little confusing as it contains instructions for multiple bike years but all in all it was pretty straight forward.

great manual
This manual has answered all of my questions so far. I bought this old bike and am getting it back into running shape. The illustrations and instructions are easy to understand. The book tells me about the proper fluids to use,and specs I need to know. It definitely gives me confidence in what I am doing. Compared to other manuals, I think the price was well worth it.

This manual has a lot of great information. I really wish they had it a little more bike specific, but non the less i figured out what i needed!

good manual
This manual is a useful tool to assist in maintenance of the YZ series of motor cycles but because it covers quite a large range is not the most detailed.

Haynes workshop manual
This manual is well written, with good illustrations. It was a great help in the overhaul of my motocross bike.

Good for getting specs, not much else
This book is good for basic maintenance procedures and as a reference book for doing extensive repairs. It has all the specifications for the bikes included (torque, fluids, tolerances, etc). I acquired a yz 125 that was already in pieces when I got it and this book was almost no help at all. I was able to get more useful information from youtube and looking at the blow ups in online parts catalogs than I was from this book. There are many situations where the book simply tells you to put it back together the same way you took it apart which would be fine if I were the one who took it apart or there were detailed drawings to refer to. There aren't.In summary: I would not buy this book again. However, I do refer to it for specs quite a lot.

Good buy
Needed a good book for my 89 yz250 and this was it because the book also covers my dads 94' yz250. Very wide range of bikes which is nice we've had a few Yz's and our old bikes have always seemed to stay strong for our occasional seasonal rides, so ill hang on to this book for time
