Q: I want to use this in a bed room but i dont want the night light. i just want the emergency light if power goes out. can i turn the night light off?

Another seller answered this question, so I'm sending you their answer. Since the item is designed to run in emergencies there would have to be a way to switch it off and keep the power saved . Thank you for your purchase. Here's the answer...... Yes, simply turn the switch on the side from auto to off and the night light will not come on. Set it to off. With the switch set to off there is no light until the power goes off then the light comes on.

Q: We recently purchased one of these and i really like it. but---what usb charging? nothing anywhere on the unit or instructions mentions usb charging!

I don't have one with USB, but I believe its purpose so you still have USB power even when your power is out. One use would be to charge your cell phone even though power is out.

Q: Are the rechargeable batteries Lipo4?

I don't know what type exactly when you say: Lipo4, in the description it says: 1 Lithium Polymer batteries required. (included)
