I ordered this sleeved apron and I love it. Mine had no smell. The biggest size I saw to order was XL, which I did. It does run slightly small and I would have gone XXL if they had a choice for that. The quality is good and I just use the neck collar velcro and don't bother with the other straps. (Bull Neck folks may have an issue. Just add a Velcro extension, simple)The length is great and goes about 3" below my knees. I am 5' 8.5". Center chest pocket is handy too. I am running a Flux Core welder so it protects well with all the Spatter. I would highly recommend. The same item is close to $100 in the stores. No regrets........

Got it today and looks good, but the smell transferred to my tee shirt after trying it on for a few minutes. I am hanging it on a clothes hanger in my garage for a week or two to see if the smell goes away as some others have commented. As for size, I got the large which seems to fit well. I normally wear men's medium for everything, so somebody who needs a true "large" might find it a little snug. Overall, it looks like it was well manufactured and it is thick enough to protect well. The neck protection seems adequate and not uncomfortable. Aside from the smell, I can recommend it.

Sized well! 5'11" 210lbs, the XL fits like a jacket, just as expected with plenty of room at the sleeve ends and for layers underneath. The elastic straps are well placed and work well to keep the garment in a comfortable position. The buckles allow quick on/off and is much appreciated. The star of the show are the arms! The rear of the arms cover the entire shoulder blade, allowing ample movement before the elastic straps engage. It feels like a full garment until you feel the straps gently holding the shoulder blade flaps together. Aside from a couple of blemishes in the leather, which is overall great quality for the task, I love this protective gear.

These do run small I ordered an extra large my build is 5‘8“ 175 pounds most of my weight is in my belly with a 36” waist the large fits me very well would not dare go to a large I wear a medium to a large in a coat kinda in between I am still able to wear a heavy sweatshirt underneath it when it’s cold outside. as far as the two buckles go on the back, they seem to be fairly adequate. I leave the top one buckled and slide it on over my head takes a little work, but not a big deal would be very hard to buckle while you’re wearing it. I very seldom buckle, the lower one, as I don’t need to buckle it, it stays in front of me very well without it being buckled so far.It did find that it came a little damp, which I expected with leather no overwhelming odor as others have stated it did leave a lot of fuzz on my clothes after I first used it, but blowing off with compressed air and the vacuum to it seem to fix that problem.For the price it is an extremely good value, and I would definitely recommend and buy again I love the open back as it will help with air circulation on hotter days.

An XL Dickies jacket is just right on me, room for layers underneath and loose enough to work in. This apron is tight across the chest, shoulders and arms. As has been mentioned, the back straps aren't high quality, but that won't matter to me. When I get stuffed into this thing, I don't need the straps. The sleeves are short, but not bad enough to matter in my welding gloves. It will get the job done and the price was right.

Very well made. Fits perfect for the size. Not to heavy. Using this for cutting, grinding, and welding. Keeps clothes clean and that's a plus!
