Igora Royal Absolutes SilverWhite Silver 60ml

I came across this a couple of years ago and fell in love with this. Just what i needed to achieve a nice soft gray. You can also use this as prep for pigmented colors that need a light, even base after bleaching

I was born with lovely auburn red hair but in my late 50s it began darkening to a mousy brown. I went through so many different salon dyes and high lights throughout the next 10 years. Finally, a stylist applied this product and I loved it. We were moving to a retirement community in a different area, so she gave me the empty box she had used and said Amazon carried it. I now order it for the stylist here to use. After the tinfoil procedure and shampoo, she leaves it on just 10 minutes, washes & conditions my hair, blow dries & Voila! I love it! I don’t have the white of the other residents but the younger look of lowlights that are natural with a lovely shade of white-silver.

I've been using this hair dye for two years, and I know exactly how it should work. The product that I've got from this seller was not the same one, though the package states it is Silver White by Igora. But it's not, or - something is simply not right with the batch. First, I noticed that the dye did not change the color like it used to (usually it turns purple while I'm applying it). I looked the box and it was a bit old and the instruction inside looked different, I would say outdated. But, I decided to trust the seller because I bought that dye from them before. After 20 minutes I felt that it burns my skin like never before, and decided to wash it off. And it turned out it bleached my hair. I have silver hair with my natural brown, but now my natural brown turned red.
