4 Inch Acrylic Indoor/Outdoor Clear Camera Dome Security Camera Housing

I used this dome to cover a homemade all-sky camera. It worked beautifully. The quality is great and the excellent documentation about sizes etc. made it easy to purchase the correct one. The only thing that could be a ding is it takes a while to get them from China. Since I couldn't find an alternative, I really can't complain about this.

Shipped Faster then expected! Quality solid! Used a standard 4" Cup type drill bit on a off the shelf 6" x 6" all weather electrical junction box. Toss in your Raspberry Pi Cam Kit and your ready to go. No fuss... No muss.... Not pretty but ... hay it's DIY.

This is being used on an outdoor sky camera, and seems good so far. It is very clear and had no defects on arrival. Be aware that its protective wrap is only on the outside and not on the inside, I accidentally got a finger print in there as I thought it was wrapped. Not the end of the world but I would have preferred to avoid that.Shipping was literally a slow boat from China... However it did arrive near the beginning of the estimated dates.Hopefully it is UV stable, as it is very sunny here.

The acrylic is very cloudy at night when the IR lights are on, not able to see through it.

Good mold / shapeform as expected, but NOT a great option for anthing more than light use & protection. Acrylic is too thin, too bendable and not well suited for heavy duty use.
