Soft and easy to use
I’m brand new to trying soft pastels. This set is so fabulous. I used sanded paper and the pigment is so beautiful to lay down in light layers and build up.I’m having so much fun learning by doing.

Softness enabling great color and expression
I was urged to try the Unison Soft Pastels in a class and have not regretted it. The softness allows wonderful surface coloration. Combined with some harder pastels for hard edges and lines, you have the makings of a wonderful pastel painting.

Very Disappointed
I was so disappointed when I received these. I heard such great things about Unison Pastels and they were dry. Only one piece was smooth and beautiful(the lightest blue) but all the other ones were very dry and maybe even very old.

Just pulled mine out of the mail. The colors are just amazing. So velvety and vibrant. Can not wait to use them. Gorgeous.

Expensive
These pastels are vert creamy and vibrant colors. They are however very expensive and I feel not much superior to some cheaper choices.
