Don't let the price deter you, this map is a statement piece! I ordered size L, Standard+ States, in dark Brown without Antarctica. I'm in the USA and from the date I ordered until I received the map it took about 19 days (no customs or import taxes). The map arrived in a 16" x 21" box & was very well packaged! It came with the map pieces, sticky tape, and an instruction manual. The instruction manual is really just a picture to show you where to place the sticky tape and how to arrange the map pieces on the wall, BUT, it does not include an actual full size wall template. Really wish it did! When I first put my map up I started it too high and ended up having to remove the pieces and start again (Yep, I had to repaint the wall where the paint peeled). I also had to grab an additional roll of sticky tape from the store, keep this in mind in case you also decide to start over. Best advice I can give for installing your map is to tape the area you need on the wall with painters tape before you start (instruction manual gives an estimated size that seemed pretty close to the measurements I ended up with). Also, do NOT press the taped pieces all the way onto the wall until the very end. This way, in case you need to move anything, it might not pull as much on your wall. If you DO need to move something, use a plastic spatula to get under the wood and twist the pieces instead of pulling. Other than that, this map is perfect! It's a quality artwork that we'll have for a long time! 5 Stars

Up front, the only additional thing I would ask for is a scale cut out to assist with getting all the landforms on the wall to scale on the first try. The box has a smaller representation of a world map, but the scale doesn't give you the proper sense of space you'll need to get this map on the wall in the right proportions. This is critical because the peel and stick adhesive is aggressive and if you misplace a landform, you could peel your latex paint off the wall trying to reposition it. As such, the box map is missing finer details necessary to get all the islands into place. For that we had to go to blowups on Google Earth. So to do this well, you'll need a really access to a well detailed Mercator map (computer) and a long level to keep the continents in the right place relative to the equator. But damn, the product is pretty. The cutouts are precise and perfectly legible. Time will tell if the adhesive works on the wall over the long haul. Despite the higher degree of difficulty than anticipated, it looks freaking fabulous. We are very, very happy with how this turned out.

It looks so cool on the wall. Have gotten lots of compliments. It was pretty easy to put up - took 2 of us about an hour and a half. It looks really cool & intricate like a puzzle but the bigger sections are really just one piece ( glad because it would have taken a lot longer to put together). It’s a real thin wood so it’s not very grave at all and the 3m tape it came with to stick up was plenty. The black color we ordered looks great on our greige wall.

Love the map! The size is impressive! We bought the largest size. It’s a beautiful statement piece. Being so large it did take awhile to layout on the floor first and then transfer it to the wall making sure it was level. It was well worth the effort and time. About 41/2 hours. We did have a couple of pieces that were warped and are not flush with the rest of the pieces but it doesn’t take away from the map. We did let the wood acclimate to the space before installing.

This world map wall puzzle is easy and fun to put together, everything is included just READ the instruction and everything will be perfect! When on Zoom I display the wall with the word map for my background all of my co-workers just love it ! Since covid-19, I had only 2 guest but they walk straight to the wall with the wooden world map and look for their country they love it only one thing- People from the Caribbean and I do not understand how the map makers can make Sicily, crate and Cypress and other small island But when it comes to certain Islands like Barbados ,Antigua & others it's called the Caribbean Island

I absolutely LOVE this piece. I was originally looking for a tapestry to put in my salon when I stumbled upon this and I don’t not regret it at all. The wood came in individual pieces that don’t have any kind of adhesive so you cut 3M tape (provided with the wood) to place around the borders of each piece.I highly recommend tracing all of the larger pieces with pencil on the wall before you even put the tape on because the adhesive will take layers off the wall if you aren’t careful. Make sure you have the angles and measurements right, one continent placed wrong will ruin the whole thing, so be patient This will take a lot of effort and time, but so worth it. I have lost count of how many wonderful comments I have received from my clients about this map.

This is a nice product: well made and at first glance of good value.The problem is the confusing fine print "*Please NOTICE that for orders to the rest of the world and to UK, Cyprus, Malta, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Switzerland, Norway, Iceland and Serbia you will pay customs fees due to big dimensions of the package. The amount of taxes depends on your country's laws. We are not responsible for them."It is not clear what this means until the product is on the way and the shipper (DHL in my case) refuses to deliver due to unpaid customs/duties/taxes are paid. I live in Canada and it was not at all clear that the NOTICE applied to me.This creates an unfortunate situation in that what you paid to Amazon at check-out is not the final price of the product. I now understand why the seller requires the buyer to include a phone number or email in the order (as the seller cannot obtain this information from Amazon).In my case (and others who have posted) I had to contact the seller and apply pressure to be refunded the additional fee I paid the DHL. I did get a refund, but the experience detracted from the pleasure of buying and enjoying the product.As such, if you plan to order this, my suggestion is to first contact the seller to understand what the final and total cost will be (as it will not be what you paid Amazon).My suggestion to the seller is include the price of customs/duties in the fees that Amazon collects. That will avoid these unhappy situations.In my case, I would have gladly paid the additional fees had these been stated upfront when I placed the order.
